2700k is just what is on the label. Have yet to meet a plant that can read. And I am not pissed at all. This thread has been quite entertaining actually.

i find it amazing and pathetic how frustrated people get when the accepted info is challenged, it seems like i threatened to kill your familys will the responses i was getting.

go smoke a bowl, chill out, and let this thread die, because some people cannot hand a simle conversation

and i stated the whole fucking time this was a THEORY and some of you were getting pissed for nothing

im not using incandescent im using cfl just to be clear, the point of this thread was to see if it was POSSIBLE to grow under incandescent and the only reason i keep going is because the same thing kept being said"they are not the right spectrum" when i stated several times that the bulbs are 2700k and yet the same response came up over and over untill recently when bud nugbong gave a very well written response that answered my question better than the last 6 pages

jesus fucking christ im out i gotta go smoke
It wasn't the theory that has frustrated people.

It's the thick headed way that you kept playing the devil's advocate.

It's like trying to revive the flat earth theory, it just flat doesn't work, period.

It's always good to do some research.

just my 2 cents, weed can be grown under incandescent lights. when i was about 13 yr old, i attempted my first grow, with no prior research, with an incandescent. it grew the plant for about a month, just fine. therefore incandescent bulbs do put out light in the spectrum useful to plants. HOWEVER, i did not flower with the incandecent bulb, do i dont know how well incandescent bulbs can develop frosty, dense, and sizeable buds.

In a light proof room with only incandescents. I doubt it. Like I said earlier in this post. You can start a plant and it will survive a few days. But to actually grow under an incandescent. Wont happen.

Ok let me clarify, my set up was ghetto and improvised as fuck.....it was my first attempt ever!!!!!
my grow space was in an old dresser, and the space was maybe 1.5ft deep x 2ft tall x 1ft wide. and i used 1 incandescent for about 1.5 months of veg. maybe if you actually attempted to grow with one, instead of being someone who always takes someones word for it, you wouldnt sound like so much of a dumbass to people who actually know what they're talking about.
