Simple is allways best ... But i have a question for you and anyone who reads ... I see people scoring the roots a little ... kind of breaking up the soil slightly ... Does this promote better root growth ?.... im sure it will cause some stress to the plant but i do see people doing it / talking about it .
hotdamn I had a little downtime when I transplanted my Lil' Bubbles today because of the pot size and the soil already in the bigger pot. So she had to be "naked" for some three-four minutes
Wish I saw this thread sooner, but big props, I have a great transplanting method for next year. mwohaha!
I recommend Fox Farms Ocean Forest for good yield and healthy plants. Super Soil is a cheap alternative with surprisingly high quality ingredients available from Target. I use Super Soil for my outdoor plants because it would be too costly to buy that much Fox Farms.
