where would an MJ plant get its nutes when grown wild?

Obviously there must have been a time where MJ plants were not interfered with by man. So how did the plant survive naturally without feeding?

Where would it have gotten its nutes from?

From the earth, air, rain, decomposing material. Same way every other plant that has ever grown wild has gotten nutrients.

Other plant material falls on the ground, gets decomposed by microbial life, it rains and the nutrients seep into the soil.

In most places your weed will still grow great outdoors without the added nutes. The nutes you buy are to try and duplicate the " perfect " food supply for that plant. Back in the day I never used anything but the water from the swamp and an occasional chopped up fish for the plants we grew...and I swear it was better than stuff I grow today..lol. But I live in a place where the soil is natrually rich and the weather works good for growing. Less is better...only add what you need. Good luck.

You're right less is better. For outdoors they will grow the most they can just add what needed' like that

In Missouri you could just plant a seed/clone in the spring..walk away and come back in the fall to harvest....and never do anything to it..no watering, no nutes nothing! But there would be nice healthy plant awaiting for you when you come back...

You could do that here in the mountains too. But you better harvest before winter! Just think of all the worm castings in natural soil!

from the soil, just like all other plants in the wild. you dont need to add nutes to grow, a lot of them are already in the soil. however adding nutes sure helps the process.

i live near garden michigan(upper michigan), soil there is very rich in nutrients. also a small town known for growing some of the best outdoor pot as far as guerrilla farming. some scary ppl tho. some will shoot you for trespassing and throw your body miles in the woods. even had a mini riot at a bar once cause the DNR were fucking with this guy thats a known big time grower and ppl actually tipped a DNR vehicle. crazy town at times but i like it.

lol...too funny. Might be though? You can't contact me unless your 18,ok.
Oh I've definitely seen 18 come and go! Yea rowlman that's how I remember it being done where I"m at, chopped fish and all. Pops grew some monsters in the '80s, he used muck soil, sunlight, swap water and the occasional fish. After he stopped doing that years later, late at night you could see piggies flying their helicopters over the adjacent fields with a red light attached to the bottom front. No beam shining down, but we knew what they were doing. :peace:
