First of all, unless you meant to say you have 105W CFLs, what you really have are about 23W CFLs and for ten plants, you have no where near enough light. At this point you should add more light and switching to 24 hour probably won't hurt much since they haven't been getting much light at all. Probably more stressful right now than it would be to switch to 24 hours.

what jakenbake is trying to say is, are those 100W only equivelant watts? or actual?

on the packet tere should be somthing along the lines of "23W = 100W" in incandecent value

the 23W is the actual watts, and if so is NO where near enough for 10 plants

4 23w bulbs is scraping by for 1 plant

Yea conepuller, it said 23w=100w or something like that!! We on the same page! But i was just trying to do something until the rest of my fans come.. Because i dont no the length i should keep my 400w mh bulb away from the plants. They died before because it was too hot, so i'm trying to figure something out.

just go read sum stickys about HID lighting, there are plenty of charts out there aswell for distance from bulb, simple way is if u can hold ur hand under it without any incomfort at your canopy than its fine, get an occilating fan in theire, intake/exhaust
