Is it more crazy to believe aliens don't exist then do?

I already started a topic on religion & got everyone heated up, now it's aliens turns! Lol.

The universe expands for infinity, so wouldn't you say it's crazier to believe we are the only ones in the entire universe then to say we are not alone? I think people who say aliens don't exist & your an idiot for thinking so... are in fact the idiots. I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe we are the only existence in such a vast universe.

Does an alien literally have to be captured on this planet for people to believe it exist? Because if so...then how does one believe in God who has never been seen?

Let's be honest with ourselves here.

I know many of you will say, "Well if they did why haven't they showed up here in the past however many years we been here?"

1] Who says they haven't?
2] Who says they aren't here right now?
3] When was the last time God showed up?
4] Your thinking Hollywood aliens, who says they can even travel to our planet?
5] We would be considered aliens to them, they can be asking the samething, why haven't we showed up to they're planet? Maybe they don't have the resources like we don't.

Now I believe there are many species out there that are smarter then us as well as dumber then us. I believe those who are not as smart don't have the intelligence just yet to travel to our land, & those who are smarter I believe have traveled to our land but are smarter then us thus being stealth enough to not get caught...

Just another high theory.

1] Who says they haven't?

They might have, "we" never know. People who have seen aliens genuinely wouldn't come on TV to brag. Will they? May be the aliens help tell them to keep quiet?

2] Who says they aren't here right now?

May be they are. Only thing is we don't know. Some aliens may be inter-dimensional. We can't see them.

3] When was the last time God showed up?

Never. God is probably is imaginary concept. Otherwise, he is beyond the human mind.

4] Your thinking Hollywood aliens, who says they can even travel to our planet?

May be some can because they are advanced. Some others may be in early man stage. In the next 1000 years, if we don't fight these fucking wars and destroy our planet, may be we can too.

5] We would be considered aliens to them, they can be asking the samething, why haven't we showed up to they're planet? Maybe they don't have the resources like we don't.

Probably. But we will make progress for sure. And one day some distant descendant of ours will land on Pandora!

Do me a favor... contact me if your interested in writing an article for our magazine on Buddhism this coming month. We want to do a religion section, a different religion every month & since I don't think anyone in our office follows Buddhism, & you seem well knowledged, I'd like to ask you to write for us a one-time gig, unless your interested in doing articles bi-monthly.

But we def. would like one from you. I can run this by our president, I'm the publicist so pretty much whatever I tell him he will agree with. Let me know. Thanks!

Yes it is crazy to believe they don't exist. I think for the most part people can't grasp how large the universe is and can't really put it into perspective so they go with the simple theory that they are the greatest creation of the invisible guy who created something so grand we still have no idea of how far it really spans. Alien life is already all around you, you just have to open your eyes. Birds, dogs, cats, jellyfish, bacteria, lizards, etc, it's all alien life to a human. Now take a step back and look how we treat those living creatures that we classify as lower forms of life and ask yourself if there is something intellectually superior to us do you really think they want to scoop us up and cruise the cosmos with them? Probably not. They would look at us as we do towards our 'primitive' ancestors.

I think there is enough evidence throughout the ancient times that suggests a superior intellectual race has visited and has easily manipulated the human mind and way of life. Just take a look back in history to the mining of gold and other elements and ask yourself why something with no real applicable use in those days was so sought after? It wasn't just because it was shiny especially in days of widespread famine and such. Today we see how valuable these elements are in the light of science (well some of us do.)

My theory: We were created by some outside intelligent force and put here to colonize the planet and extract the resources from it. Realistically slavery has been around since the dawn of man and still continues to this day, but who invented it? To this very day man is nothing more than a manipulated pawn in a grand game of chess and we can only see the cell we are currently occupying completely oblivious to all the other cells on the giant chess board.

I can see the point you are making. It may be true that we were put here by some extraterrestrial force. Many ancient legends hint at something like that. Even the concept of God is somewhat similar. Probably, "God" is some kind of alien.

Amazing read! Thank you... I loved it.

Thanks, I can go into even more depth and outside the box theories if you want to publish me. Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge.
Contact me, I'll forward your writing to the president of the co. & we will go from there. I think that you have a real unique style of writing & after all my job is to find writers & I have found myself straying from that objective & if my boss finds out I been posting silly-threads about religion & aliens, instead of recruiting possible talent, he may not smile upon that. But then again, knowing him, he might... he is a real cool guy. Contact - [email protected] - this will get your submission in line because we have many inquiries right now, so I want to make sure you get a spot in line, just send an email stating - I was forwarded this address from the publicist - from there they will forward me the information that you contacted the hiring center, then I can contact the president & he can interview you.

Unless you have Google Chat or Yahoo Messenger & are online right now, he is in the office right now, 2 doors from me in fact, I can easily walk over to him & tell him he has a client on messenger for an interview & he can interview you directly. This would save you 24-hours of waiting & possibly losing your spot. Just helping you out, shouldn't be doingit that way but I really liked your work, so I think I can pull some strings. Hint hint, wink wink, hehe hehe.

Mathematically, it's a near certainty that extra terrestrial life exists. There is an estimate of like 5x10^9 (500 billion) galaxies and a (low) estimate of like 1x10^21 stars (source: NASA.gov). So thats quite a few potential solar systems, many of which are much older than ours. It's pretty arrogant to think that we're all alone out here. It's not inconceiveble that we've never been visited however, as it would take nearly 100,000 years moving at the speed of light (Warp 1 for all my fellow nerds) to cross our own galaxy, let alone some of the really distant ones. Oh, and those estimates grow every year.

1x10^21 = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

P.S. - I also chose not to include the possible (and likely) existance of other parralel universes, innaccessable dimensions, and other types of multiverse phenomena; for the sake of simplicty. When you include the possibilities from those scenarios the figures become truly astronomical. Sorry for the pun, I couldn't help myself.
