green house effect

alrite guys i recentlly germned a "warlock and " bcn diesel" once the shell cracked i throw the seeds into a party cup and added some seram wrap to make a greenhouse effect.i dont have a heat mat. my question is where should i place the cup? under the lights? in the dark?

Under a light. A MH would work or CFLs for a better spectrum. Just keep 'em warm.

First off. Take the wrap off. You plain just dont need it. Most likely it will sweat it so much that the little root will rot out. Keep them in THE DARK until the steams shoot up for light. When you see the first leaves open up completely get a shop light or single t5. place in 1/4 inch away. DO not over water and use only water for a few weeks. Then run to the shop and buy this

i think ima go out and buy a heat matt and let them sit on top of that for a few days

i have some shoplights already, i was thinking of using the jacks classic line of nutes. heard alot of good stuff.

You dont need nutes right now. When you get to that point use a basic one part fert that will be easy. Feel free to switch when in bloom. Up to you. Dont mess with it that much and watch it grow. No need to be too hands on.

im waiting two weeks till i see sprout to start giving 1st small dose of nutes, but i still havent seen a sprout yet.today at 2pm wil make 72 hours.im kinda thinking they didnt make it

I hope you have saran wrap over them or have some other way of keeping the humidity very high.

You dont need humidity with seeds. Im done on this thread

If you have them in a humidity dome or just have cups with plastic over them, your light source provides the necessary heat. The heating mat is great for cuttings and maybe even germination, but for sprouting seeds out of the dirt, heat from a light source would suffice.

its been 4 days since i planted after germination.how long do i wait to see if they sprout? i heard 4-7days?

2 days or less, depends how deep you planted them

some could take upto 2 weeks rare but it does happen
