Im gonna be starting them under CFls just to save some money, then blast them like after 2 weeks of living with my 400w HPS.
600w hps / hash plant / grow from seed

Well my house is a sketchy place to run the 400w all day. im moving my grow room into the basement in a grow box im gonna build soon. But the light just is in my closet is just trapping the heat in and i just need better ventilation. So all those infared helis dont pick me up. Mr closet is pushin like 99 degrees. It soo bad.

what else do you know about these helis that fly overhead. Are they really out there doing that?
I am guessing in CA they don't care to much about little tiny one man medical grow ops and they are focusing on big fields and raiding dispensaries.

I have been curing some buds for almost 2 weeks.
They still smell like hay. How long do you guys let you buds cure before they start to smell nice and you can smoke them?

thanks man. Yah im gonna start building it soon. But yah the helis are freaking me out. Like i dont think they would just go like you said one man grow. but yah. im moving to cali when im 20 which is next year. So i cant wait to get a legal grow going. If so difficult just trying to stay a couple steps of the 5-0.
Quick ? i have flies in my closet somehow. i killd like 3-4 flys and i keep finding them on my plant. What could i do about this. im killing them by hand. becuz im the next karate kid haha. But yah i cant take these flies.
also i just germd a sour 'd bagseed. its in the soil now. and im having either orange kush or orange krush coming soon. and some blueberry strains. im stoked for this winters grow man. and the season for outdoor is half way over. {im on the northeast region] So do u think if i plantd one now outside would it be worth it?

I would say 3-4 weeks. but some say 5. But its whatever you decide when your buds are up to your satisfaction.
also what are you curing in? mason jar?

sick. but yah man idk the hay scent might be what the buds smell like.

haha, its sad but i dired them for 4 days then cured for 3 them smoked it all in 6 days.
20 grams in 6 days.

Ok so for the very few that were watching this grow, I think I owe a pic update.
they look great and are just about ripe. the trichs are about 1/5 amber.

I am going to give them all the chop on saturday.
I am debating a 24 to 48 hour dark period.
some say the dark periods do wonders and some say it does nothing.
I have also heard to give them 24-48 hours of dark and then about an hour of light then chop.
what is the process you guys use when harvesting?

i did 24 hours of darkness. 36 is the most i heard before the THC starts to degrade.

I have been looking into The phresh filter (canned carbon filter)
I am not sure how to hook up the carbon filter because I am pulling air from the light right out of the cab. I guess I could put the filter right next to the fan on the outside of the tent but that will be so freakin loud in my apt. If I put the filter and fan on the inside i am afraid it will not transfer enough heat out of the tent.
I should have got an inline 400watt.
any suggestions?
