Question about MANGANESE(Mn) def?

So after doing my research for about 3 hours I've pretty much come to conclusion that this is Mn (manganese) def. You can look at the pics and judge for yourself. they say Mn def presents when there is too much Mg in the soil.

I can't find any solutions to Mn def other that folair feeding with a fert that contains Mn. There are two problems with that. I am in week 4 of flowering and I've been told not to folair feed when in flower because it can cause mold right? My other issue is the only fert I have that only has Mn and not Mg is jacks and I don't really know if you can use jacks classic to folair feed....?

I was wondering if anyone else had some tips/help/suggestions on how to combat this def. I was thinking of just feeding them nutes with only Mn in them and no Mg for awhile and see if that helped...? You think that would work? Any suggestions are welcomed.

yup i was gonna say spidermites but as bad as the leaves are you would see some webbing on top but i would say spidermites is a good possibility

No no spider mites. I mean I looked under the leaves and dont see any bugs at all. I've throughly checked the plants and don't see any webbing. I'll check again for sure though.

And cal-mag has calcium and magnesium not manganese right? I odered some cal-mag thinking it was manganese in it but its magnesium.....

So you don't think I should folair spray them then?

u wont be able to see the spidermites with the naked eye, you need a magnifying glass, so i take it you dont know. dude u got a bad infestation of spidermites. best natural thing is stuff called sns-217. u might need a large bottle. or u could go nuclear on there asses.

I do know. Its not spider mites.

I know what spider mites look like and what they do to plants and this isnt it.

add 1/2 cup of dolomite lime per square foot of soil. or dissolve 1 tsp of epsom salt per gallon of water for a few waterings. you should add the lime to your soil before you start your plants, because most mediums are lacking in calcium and magnesium

Finding a fert. that has specifically higher ratios of Mn without Mg may be difficult. Most manufacturers use more or less a "shotgun" approach when it comes to micro-nutrients and tend to include most of the trace elements in small proportions comparitive to Macros. You might look at some of the chelated iron sources as they often contain higher Mn ratios as it is part of the oxidation process of Fe. Will it include Mg as well? Probably, but are you certain that the Mg has been applied to the point that it is actually tying up the Mn? If the Jack's contains only Mn and not Mg if should be safe for a foliar feed in small amounts to the fan leaves only. What is the NPK ratios on the Jack's? One other thing...it is not spider mite damage. The damage-pattern is too far apart and irregular for them and yes you can see them with the naked eye with careful examination.

Thank you for the response.
I have applied a substantial amount of Mg that would have tied up the Mn. I mean considering I just did a flush where I did flush with 1 tsp of epsom salt which contains about 10% Mg. I think thats what tied up the Mn.
You think that would do it? So your saying I should foliar feed but only on the fan leaves?
I didn't think of feeding that way.
The NPK of the Jacks all purpose is 20-20-20. But it is the only fert I can find in my collection with Mn and no Mg.
My only other idea other than foliar feeding was just do a couple waterings with just the Jacks all purpose and none of my other ferts. You think that might help to phase out some of the Mg in the soil and add more Mn? Or you think I should just try to folair feed?
Is there any other way of getting Mn def other than too much Mg? I mean I'm like 99% sure its Mn def, it doesn't look like anything else I've ever seen.

have you ever had spider mites and dealt with them? what did you use
Its not spider mites. Spider mites can be seen with the naked eye. No webbing at all. The damage started appearing on the top of the plant first and usually spider mites go for the more "bushy" areas.

And to quote if I may, "One other thing...it is not spider mite damage. The damage-pattern is too far apart and irregular for them and yes you can see them with the naked eye with careful examination".

But no I've never had spider mites.

I just checked for you with my scope and I can see the spider mites in your picture...

But seriously, if you think you can see spider mites without a scope and because you can't see one then you're realllllyyyy in for a surprise...By your own admission you've never seen a spider mite and never had a problem with them so what makes you think you don't have them? Won't hurt to check it out bro...Just saying....

If you think you've narrowed it down to a deficiency and you can't foliar feed them, then just completely flush your plants with final phase or clearex and give them a complete fertilizer solution to bring things back to normal....The more you fuck around with trying to raise levels of certain elements, the more you're gonna fuck your shit up...

Also, you (spider) mite have fixed your deficiency and (spider) mite not be seeing the results because your leaves are fucked up beyond repair....Pluck the ones that are 50% damaged and see what happens in a day or so...

Hope that (spider) mite have helped
