oh ok, well i began with 12/12 thinking that was the way to go, but then later found out that i should go 18/6 so i did and they really took off after that lol but i want them to get bigger before i go back obveously.
Looks healthy. You are not going to know the sex till the mature or you put them in 12/12.

Switch them now. They will be fine. Get them on a good 18/6 cycle and a bit more light if possible.

yea i gave them a bit 3 days ago, i'll probly give them some more tomorrow they are still kinda moist. I was told miracle grow isnt the greatest but im only putting a little bit in gradually increasing the dosage.

...and never give them miracle grow! Jack's is a good cheap way to start. You can get it at most garden centers or you can get Grow Big online. There are a lot of great neuts out there, MG is not one of them.

They look nice and healthy.

And yea, its way too early to start flowering them.

You should think about starting to LST them. They'll bush up like crazy. Once they are nice and bushy you can begin flowering.

lol what is LST?
Light Stress Training.

There are alot of good threads about it on here.

You basically bend the plant 90 degrees and tie it down. It will go "wtf why am i upside down?!", and regrow itself upwards, creating more budding sites. Continue to do it in a circlular pattern around the pot. You get alot of budding sites, and personally i think it makes better use of space. You dont have to worry as much about verticle growth.

Twice now I have posted and it did not display. Let me try again...

FoxFarms rocks. I have not heard of an issue buying it in Canada, but that does not mean it is not the case.

I also strongly suggest Ocean Forest potting soil. If you find big grow, you should find the Ocean Forest also. Good soil and neuts make a HUGE difference. Cheap neuats will burn your plants, throw off the PH and allow salts to build up in the soil.

If this is your first grow I encourage you on learning the basics and keeping them alive. I use LST also with mixed results. Great for indoors with limited growth room. Many disagree on the net result.

There are a lot of threads here on LST if you decide to go that way. Take your time and use hemp string or something else which will not cut the stem. Some strains love it, others could care less. Some say it has a negative impact on the main, other say it is balanced out with the additional growth else where. In any case, it is always fun to try new ways. Most important... don't over water (#1 noob mistake) and have fun.

Read up on a bit first, so you get a better understanding of the process and how it works.

Just simple things to hold it down, like twist ties.

Your plants look great, no signs of weak stems or anything. You'll be suprised at how fast they re-position themselves upwards.

and yea, if you can get foxfarms "oceans forest". Its a little more pricey than typical soil, but its rich in nutes and great for beginners. Here in the states you cant find it at superstores like walmart and homedepot, I looked in the phonebook for hydroponic stores and found one right down the street from me. They carry absolutely everything you could possibly need.
