No he wasnt, he tried to explain something to you that you refused to or couldnt understand even after multiple people all tried to help you and you just blew them off.
I dont think you understand what it is the fan leaves are there for.....to catch light and turn it into energy to give to the buds, the bigger a leaf is the more effecient it gets and the more stored energy it will contain, So those healthy fan leaves will make more than those bud leaves would.
I've got no problem with you but i'd be more careful about how you say things. You did sound rude even though you probally sisnt notice.

He asked a question, and we as seasoned growers thought it would be best to tell him to leave the leaves alone, since he said he was going to cut them off his plant, we coldn't give a fuck what you do with that fan leaves after harvest. Most people throw the fan leaves away...and keep the smaller resin coated ones for bubble hash, or honey oil.

If I sound like a dick...it's probably cause i'm being one since people ask questions and don't want to hear the right answer...they just want to hear what they want to hear and that's that.

You're not very bright, are you... Here's your original question:

So you're asking if you can trim the fan leaves because you're going to get rid of them anyway right? Because I assume when you say "smoke" you're going to remove them from the plant first. Then, in the above quote, you state that in fact you really dont care about your original question.

So, like everyone else, Im done with this thread. I highly recommend you trim ALL your fan leaves, so you get that fix you want. Screw the buds, right?
