Your looking for nearly 2 cu. yards of soil-- I think the best (and most affordable) choice would be to have soil delivered by truck from a nursery. They usually can even blend compost with soil, which I would recommend; sometimes they can even blend perelite in, too.

Do not use miracle gro ! Its will destroy your plants! I used miracle gro potting soil n it gave my plant a defiency that she's recovering from.

What about pests ?????? Cause the soil I got has no nutes and doesnt say anything about it being sterilized
I don't really worry about them too much. I know of something that cost $7 and will kill any and all pests so that doesn't really bother me much.... And most pests are easy enough to deal with. It's spidermites you really need to worry about. But like I said.

^Exactly. MG soil isn't all that bad, not unless you don't have your watering skills fine-tuned, or if you don't know how(or when) to use your ferts. Add some perlite, and it works great. I was getting annoyed with the fungus gnats that came with mine, lol so I quit using it and switched to FF OF. Been happy ever since.

i've bought the fox farm soil and it had gnats before. that being said i think it has a lot to do with what time of year it is when you buy it, during the winter i've never came across a bag of any brand soil with gnats. if my girls are still in veg when they show up i'm not scared to use sevin dust to kill them or anything else that might be creeping around.
