You'd think so, then you realize that fluid's are measured differently, and that is ft^3 of liquid. In dry goods there would be 6.42851 gallons per cubic foot.1 cubic foot = 7.48051945 US gallons
1 US gallon = 0.133680556 cubic feet
add calculator, do math, get result.
