well a gallon in a half times 100 is 150 gallons

7.5 gallons is just barely more than 1 cubic foot

150/7.5= 20 cubic feet.

but unless you plan on a short veg cycle (0-14 days) before flowering you should get bigger pots

You'd think so, then you realize that fluid's are measured differently, and that is ft^3 of liquid. In dry goods there would be 6.42851 gallons per cubic foot.
