thanks guys.... its really hard to get proportionate pictures that can depict the realistic size of the plants. Im still working on the video.... says there is 55 minutes left of the upload.... we shall see....

I will try and take measurements in the next couple of days....

I appreciate it man for real. Just loosing faith in people all around, discovering most arent worth my time. Sounds kind of conceded, but people just seem to take kindness and take advantage of it. Oh well....good to know there are still good people out there.

Oh, and you have no trouble with proportion in your pictures, plenty of landscape to compare to, and those things look like monsters!

Thanks for the advise on the Molasses and Fish emulsion, gave em a shot of fish/kelp and look to be getting some color back. Not very happy with the FF nutes so far, but it will do as i learn what the hell I'm doing.

An excerpt from my mind, another post at another time.... earlier today-
nah man. Its about habits, balance, and tolerance. Its totally relative. Like I wrote, it offered me a lot of insight into things going on in my own life. For example: Me talking about wanting to cut it down to one forum, one journal, rather than the multiple I am doing now. Focussing and prioritizing goals and resources, time, and money. Not being over bearing in providing for my plants, and spending time with my family. Totally relative. Maybe, consider asking to be banned from other forums..... see, sure I could go back. But not as TLD, and then it wouldn't be the same. Interesting to me, that it wouldn't be the same, for weights and measures. The journey to enlightenment starts with a spark of desire. Could make something out of nothing, and let it steer your life...... could focus on whats right in front of you, and miss everything around you.

Kids say the darndest things.... lol...... when it comes to that though..... I asked the CWS worker which they prefer be left out if it had to be one or the other, a bud, or a cup of bleach..... their answer was the same as yours would be, and mine... neither, but the bud can't kill them, and the bleach will. Its a taboo and a touchy subject, especially to be spoken about publicly . I grew up around cannabis on a daily basis. Did I turn out bad? I was appropriately educated and have steered clear of hard, potentially lethal drugs. I live a fairly well balanced lifestyle. I feel I don't abuse cannabis. Indeed, my substances of vice are coffee and cigarettes. That is something I am a lot more self conscious about than cannabis, which provides me with a means to eat, because without it I would have no appetite. Both coffee and cigarettes are appetite suppressants, and for me that is a deadly combination.

FF has good stuff... not the best, but I would say nye but nature can truly be perfection. SO I mix and I match for success, on the penny, cuz Im always broke ass, lol.


watering the plants tomorrow. Really time to trim inner growth, and get the support netting up.... gotta ghetto wrangle some supplies.....

Please forgive me if you've mentioned this, but do you top your plants (trees more like it!)?

Curious about your opinion on topping, and if you think it really adds that much more weight compared to just letting them go.

If you start topping early, and you top with a strategy, yes I think it can increase your yield in some situations and with some strains. The PK I have hasn't produced the largest top colas when I topped them, but I think that may have been an indoor thing, as they weren't allowed a whole lot of recovery and development time since topping (or FIM'ing, or whatever you do, Super Cropping etc.), they only recovered for 2 weeks before flowering, and went through a transplant in the meantime.

The PK "Wide" was topped approximately 3 weeks before she came outside. The 2 Legged PK was the result of taking a cutting from the mother, the last 4-6 inches of a branch that is 6" long. The 2 inches (1 node) remaining was cut into another cutting, and thus it produced those two main shoots. Like I wrote before, I am very interested in that, it almost looks like 2 whole plants stemming from one root system, very interesting. The PK SW and NE both have certain branches coming from the bottom that are a lot larger and more developed than the others, and I am keeping an eye on that. I think is is a result of my pinch FIM technique. Anyways, having those sister plants (all the PK thats outside) that are all exactly the same age, will help provide answers to a more in depth exploration on the subject.

You also have to keep in mind coffee and cigarettes will keep bugging you because you know their bad for you. As cannabis is nothing more than medicine, and a way to enjoy your day to day life, you dont even think of it. Without it, I would feel like shit, daily. I dont think of cannabis as "any" drug, and refuse to ever mention it as so. So for me, at one point in time I got excited to go home and blaze after work, now I dont even think about it....more or less thinking about what I want to eat.

Without this stuff I couldent eat, and my stomach would eventually destroy itself....along with my throat from all the acid.

i FIMd my fem church. it just starting to grow in. now i want to LST to get as many mini main colas as i can. ill provide a pic for you but by tieing them down in a X formation. will this increase my harvest? especially if like you said some strains do better. Does the church strain do good with FIM/topping?

Dude, the church is a badass strain. Topping/fimming is a great idea with this strain, but LST I do not know....I dont see why it wouldent work

Yep good to top and tie down.... damn I wish we could be side by side on it though..... You saving it to veg all the way until next season?

Think I found the hash instructor for my school.... ....... need a couple more instructors.... then we can start going over corriculum. But there is actually distinctive properties Per Plant that help determine whether or not it would be ideal for topping, or FIM'ing, or Pinch FIM'in, or supercropping, or SCROGing....... distance between nodes, leaf structure, stem width and strength, growth rates, amount of time to veg before flower etc.

I would like to point out a form of pinch FIM'ing that I have been developing more and more over time. instead of actually pinching the stem of the plant, pinch just NEWLY forming leaves. This stunts the top growth and sends auxiliary signals to the lateral side branches of the plant, these side branches thicken and strengthen, and grow more vigorously as a result. And the top you pinch..... keeps growing. It may be stunted for up to a week before you really notice the place where you pinched start growing again. After about another week, you will notice a lot of the side branches continued to grow just as vigorously as just after you pinch FIM'ed. At this point you can pinch FIM the single top again, and by the time it recovers, some of the lateral side branches will have caught up with it or surpassed it. If you do this the one time though, and then permanently top the single vertical stem a couple weeks later, it will double the amount of Tops you get.

Gosh I hope that made sense.... thats one of the reasons I said it would be nice to be right next to you with this.... I could show you over time.
