Well, since it will be all female (I hope) it should be better than what you started with.

I dont know what your reggies are like. I threw down 20 bagseed and 8 have gotten near the end. 1st one was iffy, 2nd one was ok, 3rd one is a sweet stoney high that I am on right now. 4-8 have yet to be harvested.

IMO if you take care of it properly you are just as likely to have stuff with good genetics as not...

This is an excerpt from "Skunk" magazine from an article titled Seed Considerations by Bobby Pen

"Back in the day, you could almost tell where your weed was coming from just by looking at the seed. That is no longer the case. In the mid to late eighties, Mexican farmers, looking to increase potency and reduce the flowering times of their crops, began to introduce into their genetic pools, indica and indica dom strains. Initially, the consumers were delighted. However, the genetic infusion was short lived. If you will, a quick squirt of ink into the swimming pool. Unfortunately, here we are, damn near thirty years later, and Mother Nature hasn't been excatly kind in her retaliation for the unwanted intrusion. It seems that, in some instances, the quality of the weed has sought the lowest common denominator between the two weed types, the high-types suffering most pronouncedly. Gone was the grab-you-up-by-sternum, make-you-top-chakra-tickle soaring head-trip. In its place, a pleasant enough experience, but when considered in contrast, a poor replacement."

"This genetic pollution has made itself felt in the confusion that now exists when trying to predict what type of plant you're going to get, based on the bag of weed from which you got it. At best, it is a roll of the dice, and the dice are loaded for long internodes and longer flowering periods - not what you want for indoors. This bagseed probably comes from a place where weed is grown by the acre, with little attention to detail, where chopping it all down, throwing it all in a pile in the sun to compost, is a common curing practice. Where even if they DID pick out all the males, it wouldn't matter because your neighbor down the road didn't pick ANY of his males!
HYBRID VIGOR be damned."

I hope this helped you out. I know it sure did for me. I grew badseed out as a proof of concept that I could grow indoors. I got excatly what the columinst is describing Tall, lanky, long stems with few internodes. It took forever to induce it to flower and then it didn't want to finish. It took 2months until it was ready for harvest. I dried, and then cured it and it was ok. It got you high but you had to smoke 4 or 5 bowls to get a decent buzz. All in all I say invest in some quality seeds from a reputable vendor if you intend to grow. If you don't want to spend alot of money get some reg seed from a place like Nirvana seeds. Excellent customer service and they have special daily deals where you can get a discount on selected seeds.

Peace and positive energy to you

As mentioned, of you don't let it get pollinated, it'll be pretty good smoke. I live in an area that has nothing but dirtweed, and grew some bagseed last year, and it turned out awesome. No, it wasn't as good as White Widow, for example, or any of the top strains, but it was still really good. I told everybody I got it imported from Holland, and they believed me.

^Just keep in mind that you could get some shitty genetics. I had three bagseed strains, and one of them was crap. It wasn't totally useless, 'cause it was still better than the dirtweed, but not by a whole lot. I had a killer sativa though, and man.... *drools*lol

I've never grown anything but bagseed, and these are my current ladies, not too bad looking to me!100_1947.jpg They're 2 1/2 weeks into flower.
One is Sativa dom, the other indica, there is a definite difference in node spacing but I think they look pretty bushy, not all thin and scraggly. I live in the Northwest, our bagseed is some good shit, at least in my experience, maybe that has something to do with it.
