Male or Female

I purchased some Feminized White Widow seeds from cannabis.com and for some strange reason I think these plants are male. Please tell me what you think.

Sounds like you got a bad batch of seeds.

Now that you know how to sex stick with regular genetics, that way when you get males you can use them for seeds. Breeding with feminized seeds pollutes the gene pool IMO.

I guess we can say that Cannabis.com can't be trusted. I hope the other strains of seeds I also purchased don't turn male too.

Did you buy feminized? If you did then you have a right to be pissed but if you didn't then you are taking a risk of getting males. But if you don't like Cannabis.com go to Nirvana to get your seeds. I have ordered 3 sets of 10 from them and all of them get to me in about a week. I live in the states also.

Sorry to hear about the male bro that sucks!

Yes, I did buy feminized seeds! And I am pissed.... This was the first time I purchased seeds from them and it will probably be the last.

you know they could have been feminine seeds but the plants could have been stressed in the grow. I bought some feminized seeds(my first grow) from XXXXX(not going to say) and I had two Hermes out of 10(SNOW WHITE). the idea of “feminized” seeds is heralded as a new wave of breeding enabling you to grow only females, but in reality it is a less reliable and less effective method than simply cloning your favorite plant. the female plants that developed from hermaphroditic seeds had the drawback of being far more likely than ordinary plants to develop male branches – turn “Herman” – when stressed. If a power, pump or light failure caused enough stress to the plants they easily hermaphroditic female. try looking up "BREEDING WITH HERMAN."

That sucks bro I would be pissed! It sounds like the straight up ripped you off! Cus like said here from what I have read is that if they are feminized the worst is they will become hermi if they get stressed out. But males? Now I am worried about my six little ones. I hope mine are good to go. I think feminized is supposed to be around 90% chance they will be female, but it depends on the breeder.
