i was reading a high times magazine at a friends the other day and in the questions and answers section(think it was danny danko but cant remember) someone asked a question about a plant they grew. instead of the usual adjacent 2 nodes per space, this dude had a mutant plant that had 3. i forgot the scientific term for it but high times said it was due to a genetic mutation, normally they are bad for plants but this one was actually great and can even provide more yield.
so i was wondering in theory a clone from this plant will have those same mutant genetics right? however on clones though the lower nodes are not at the same height like a plant grown from seed. they are all above one another. kinda like how the nodes develope on the top part of a plant pretty much above the 3rd node. so what would cloning a mutant plant like this do? would it still produce more nodes than normal? i imagine if someone had a clone of a good strain doing this, it may have high demand since yield can be bigger.
