its the manifold you attatch the hoses to & run 1 hose to each plant the pump & drip head remain submerged in your reservoir

Oh holy shit, now I see what you are using. But I'm still not sure of the application.

Here, this is a system I use for outdoor hydro vegetables.

I'm lost on how you guys are working your systems.

Can someone with a similar setup post a pic to help an ol' retread out?

those drip heads are designed to be put on a waterpipe after a timer or valve 1/2'' standard water pipe fitting i should of studied a little closer

no...no...it wasnt my threads that was leaking........i like the way horribleherk has his setup.......with the manifold left into the res.....then individual lines running to each plant....if it was going to leak it would b in the res....nice...i like it.....so i went and bought some aquarium sealant.....says it takes 48 till u can fill up your fish tank so i will wait that long to fire up the pump......again,,i am now using the 6 way manifold in between my 4 plants with 2 ports still blocked off....i dissasembled all the lines to the manifold and put a bead of sealant around each port....then attached the tubing and then basically welded around the tubing with more silicon to make sure it doesnt leak this time......and now after seing herks pump i now know that my pump is waaaaaaayyyyy to fkn big(596 GPH)....probably the reason for my leaks.....before i glued the tubing to the manifold i put a T fitting right after the pump in the res and attached a valve so i can lower the pressure in the system by opening the valve and letting water flow back into the res.....my drippers worked great this way so i hope the silicon helps the leaks......thanks everyone

cool ya gotta do whatever it takes to make it work for you it kinda sucks when a project fights you at every turn any how good luck with your grow it also sucks not being able to post pics i did my first few grows that way

so i would just say fck it and turn the pump on and tell u guys everything is working great now but im gonna wait another 24hrs of drying to be sure. But everything looks like it should work just fine.....thanks again guys!!

so....still leaking........actually thought I put a little too much silicon on to begin with......hydro must suck if this is what its like all the time....oh well...fk it...I'll throw a towel under it
