after initial equiptment purchases...how much do you figure it cost you to grow weed?

hi guys....im doing DWC......im learning alot....

however...a few weeks in, im realizing that chemicals will be a huge expense!!

not to mention equiptment cose, electricity..labor

in the end, aftre you guys have had a few grows under your belt, what do you figure it cost you to grow weed per ounce???

all replies welcome...but dwc users may be closer to where i might wind up..

read some stickies or search and youll get some quicker answers. They have formulas and calculators posted on the site that can help you determine costs. Its always worth it in the end

nutes are not cheap, but they do last for a while. i'm guessing on mine but i'm pretty close to 50.00 an oz for nutes, soil, electric, co2. thats probably real close plus my time.

its hard for me to even guess at this point bcuzz im just on my last weeks of flower on my first dwc grow and like you I have learned alot in the past months,my costs are far higher than most,I dont have a hydro shop in my area and I have to mail order just about everything and shipping costs add up over time,also it would depend on how many differant additives you use,I read some posts here where there adding this and that on top of there standard nutes,that can also get costly just to keep all of that in stock. it all depends on how much extra cash you have to play with I guess.Im hopeing to get around 6 ozs or so from my grow if I had to put a dollar amount on this grow I might not want to do it again,but I have learned alot and now that I know what works best for me my costs will be lower.I think the only way to find out is to keep growing good luck peace and grow on

Expensive yes. Advertising is a great investment, they make tons off you.

Look at the pic. Those two round tubs? Veg and Bloom. 29 bucks for three pounds
each container. I never feed em over 650 ppm and if you don't see it in that milk crate,
it does not go in my res. That little dot after res means Fucking Period.

60 bucks plus tax, 6 grows last year and three this year. Bought two years ago.

and before you snicker, look at my dwc grow pics I have posted.

2 grams per watt, trying for three and gonna shoot for 4gpw.
and I'll get there,,,

ps, or btw, I drink the water from my reservoirs every day they're
running that clean.

i buy water still so alot. im going to need big bloom and big bud today. boom- 70$ i go though so much big bloom it like 16$ ever 3 weeks. the bottle of ph7 is a culprit i use a ton a ph juice too. including all nutes i say its 50-60 bucks a month maybe more if you count gas to the grow store. for a grow including gas i guess for me....4-5 hundred in 4 months ill probably get 5000$ i hope?

boomer, go to youtube. you can post a video there and make it private. then no one can see it unless you give them the link. then when you post here you just put in the link. until you post a video of you dipping a cup in your res and drinkiing it, i call bullshit.Not to be a DICK but as far as keeping your nutes a secret, thats fine but even if we used the same shit you use and put em in coolers under the same lights they would come out TOTALLY different.Unless its a small 1 or 2 plant grow under cfls most of us will spend at least 50.00 a month on nutes, electric, and other stuff.my electric bill alone is 450 a month and at least 300.00 is for the pot.
