yea im escited i got some good ideas...i cant stop the perpetual must go , i cant just battle it with some alterations... yea i think i have been over watering... do u find thought some pots dry up fast then others? what do u do then??
es i do. i ahve 9 side-byside right now. all cuttings off the same branch. they are 5 weeks in. they all look alike. some dry out faster than others. i thought maybe they weren't getting watered evenly so i started soaking them, like i said. they are still doing it.

i mean, im just thinking that a dehumidief makes the water condense on a cooling coil right? then if the lights are on making the room hotter and drawing moisture up into the air, the dehumidifier would be pointless. or at leat not as effective as in a room without HID lighting. but whatever I say, is overruled my FDD. hes a vet, im not.
all thoughts and ideas are helpful. i'm kinda dumb. at least my wife says so.:peace:

im thinkin maybe even takin the ducting off the shades and see if the heat from the lights would dry up the air a little more... but then maybe i will have to raise my lights and increase chiller??? worth a try..... do u think its safe to have a 1000 watt light in those tubes without a inline fan blowing thorugh them and cooling the room down just wiht a chiller??? i hope the plastic wont melt

dude one really important thing to do is get lots of thick plastic sheeting and try to seal off & separate the dirt on the ground from your grow room, I would line the floors with it and duck tape the shit out of it all together all the way up to the cieling like that way you will have your own more air tight and more importantly moisture tight grow room, that dirt in there is just like putting an orange peel in you bag of erb but the apple peel never dries out cuz your apple peel if the planet earth:shock:

so its like you are trying to take moisture out of the earth with 2 outdated defumidifiers never gonna work. u need to seal it then get 1 good humidifier.

this may be a bad idea but maybe even put and old rug or carpet down on top of the plastic sheeting you put over the floor. Sealed tottally with ducttape of coarse. either way might make it more cozy in there:lol:

im also thinking even if you do this if u are intaking fresh air from the moist area u might just be bringing the moisture back into your sealed grow room, so maybe get a duct for the intake the brings in air from a less moist area or from your house vent system/dryest area available.

Haha yea i know its a never ending fight.. ive got the tarp down tuck taped to the poly walls.. is that not enough... and wouldnt that rug absorb the moisture and be wet within a wekk?? im definatly getting a new dehumidifer if not 2... also going to be ducting hot dry air from the furnace and swithcing my intakes and exhueasts around ::D:D::D

yea thats whats goin on currnetly im intaking air from the other half of the crawl space so the air is wet and moist... im going to now be exhuatinsg there and intaking from the other side... is 50% humidioty 72 F good intake air???

nice, i never really messed with humidity hasnt been much of problem but when i harvest it gets real high so i use a electric space heater in there and it lowers it,

i didnt realized how bad humidity is for yeilds, 10 ozs sucks for 1000 watts , i got 16 ozs with my 400watt and was amazed, i was expecting like 6 i didnt wanna get my hopes up but I ended up with 16

maybe the strain u have is not suited for your type of environment, like dont they say some strains are outdoor only or indoor only? i also seen seeds that are for greenhouses, i think u need a strain that thrives in greenhouses.

yea this humidity is a bitch but im determined to smack her and get her in control of her..what kind of electric space heater are these?? im thinking of getting 1 or 2 for night time... ill see first how the hot dry air from the furnce will do.. do u think furnace air is possibly enriched with co2?

Im quite confident in this strain both are indoor strains and ive seen others have great results

i just increased flow of water to the chiller and automaticlaly the humidity went up... this will always hapen right?? would just using reflectors instead of air cooled shades be better??? would the bare lights dry up the room more?

yea thats a good idea dont air cool the light you can let it go to to 85 deg F shouldnt be too hot at all,

i got the space heater from wallmart real cheap they are everywhere now that its winter, i would recommend one that has a temp setting so it will automatically shut off when the desired temp is reached. but if u use the furnace air might not need them, that is sick tho it would be co2 inriched i think

Yaaaa i think so too since the pilot and the burners emit co2... i gotta tryt this out.. could i possibly giving them 2 much co2 doing this? yea 1 that turns off when a desired temp is reached with a timer woould be ideal.. how about those air cool shades running without air going through them. do u think the plastic may melt?

would u say exhausting through chorcaol filters over scrubing would reduce humidity?? and intake always has to be greter then exhuast right??
