i hvae 2 clones which i cut from my indoor plants. the clones will be going outdoors. one has rooted pretty good, and the other is getting there.

i think im going to put them in red dixie cups, put them outside when i wake up and back inside with the veg lights when the sun goes down(so they veg).

my question is...when should i just leave them outside all day and night? should i veg them for a month first? or do i not have time? i was also thinkin of cutting off branches so its one big stalk/bud when it buds

Things are going into flower outdoors this week.

I think you missed the boat for this season if you dont put clones out now.

dont use dixie cups, get a 2 or 3 gallon container, you dont have the time for the root system growth to be impedded in any way.

i put a clone outside yesterday. you will not get as much as a plant would if you started in the spring but they will be fine you have 2 and a half 3 months so. you should probably get an oz. you may get two if your lucky. goodluck.

I think you're a little late man. Maybe if you already had rooted clones that have been vegging a few weeks. I'm in the NE and my outdoor plants started flowering in the past week or two. Unless you are in a climate where the season extends into november I don't think they will have enough time to fully mature. You can try it though and see what happens.

i dont want a big plant because i have neighbors and also an indoor grow. is it ok to throw them outside even if theyre like 4 inches tall?

This is what worked for me last year. You still have time as long as you veg them first. Since you do indoor veg them untill September then put outside. i hope you live where it does not rain until november and you can cover the plants. Dirrtyd

yeah u should acclimate them to the UVB and intense sunlight. ive been doin that for about a week or so now

just went to the 99 cent store and got a 3 pack of blue plastic cups. they dont let light through. i drilled 2 holes in the bottom, and put the clone in soil in it(the one thats rooted a lot, the other clone only has one root tip comin out)
