i cnt think of a reason why these 2 have their first node leaves looking so fucked up

What's your ph? And are you adding any nutes?

blackstrap molasses is the only nute i used

the soil has a ph balance of 6.5-6.8 i beleive

im using kellogs outdoor patio plus potting soil

They look over or under watered to me & besides is it not to early to give them anything but water.

The 6.8 is a lil high, What kind of soil are you using? I would leave the blackstrap alone for a while and just use ph'd water. How often do you water and how much runoff do you allow

ya i would probly go with over watered it wouldnt be a fault of my own because i wait at least 5 days b4 i even think of watering but i have noticed the water doesnt seem to drain quite well in red lastic cups and the bottom soil never seems quite dry enough.

im thinkin i should maybe add some more drain holes to the bottom of the cup. or maybe i should transplant but i fear since they are fairly small and already stressing that it could severely stunt them more or even kill em

6.8 for soil is fine, if the ph meter is accurate. Values over 8.0 and under 5.5 will lock out nitrogen, and other nutrients have different levels. Ideally, soil should be about 6.5, however 6-7 is fine. A soil grower should not sweat 6.8 if it is steady.

Why are you adding molasses at this early stage? Molasses is energy, which the plant can produce on it's own with nitrogen. I assume your soil has nutes, because of the "plus" in it's name. I would put off the molasses until you enter flowering and get your PH checked. The soil should provide nutes needed for vegging.

When they are that small they do not need to saturate the whole cup to runoff out of the bottom. Just give them a few ounces of water at a time & plenty of light as close as possible. The plant is so small & has hardly any root system.

I forgot to mention run a gentle breeze across the cups to help bring the moisture back to the top & dry out before watering again. They will probably make it if you dont luv your plants to much.
