Diesel Ryder 250w CFL Grow

alright well my most mature plant only has like 10-15 hairs total now compared to the millions on my others but they dont seem to be turning brown i guess ill have to wait more time.
im going to order the microscope right now thx guys.

You will notice the pistils (hairs) coming out of the calyx start turning red/brown, then more and more change, and then they start growing back into the bud. That means your getting close, now you want to keep an eye on the trichomes and see what they're doing. Note that trichomes that are cloudy will turn amber after curing and stuff... Not all but some will. You choose what kind of high you want by a cloudy/amber ratio.


In the final stages, the calyxes will start to swell up. They get pretty fat if it's a happy plant. Once the calyxes have fattened up, and the trics are how you want them you can cut them down.

when she realilizes that she isnt going to get pollinated...she retracts her hairs back in.the purpose of the hairs is to collect the pollen in the air.at the last stage of flowering it pulls the hairs in...puts its last bit of energy into flowering instead of trying to get pollen to pollinate

yeah you should deff get a 2700 i feel as though they do much better under those.
I followed the link but i cant see the pictures so ill have to make an account.
let me know if you want any advice for this specific strain, just to let you know i find the DRs to be really nutrient sensitive.

Learn to read your plants. They are just as alive as we are and even though we can't have a conversation with them we can sense when they are hungry. Usually when the leaf color from the top down starts to lighten to a yellow green to a yellow even. I honestly suggest chakra meditation especially more towards the 3rd eye to raise your intuition. Yes you can be telepathic towards your plants, just gotta be aware. Sort of micro sense things. Maybe take some mushrooms, or dmt and talk to your plants haha you can learn a lot!

So very true, Blue Chronic! I do Reiki on my plants twice daily. They absolutely DO respond to the grower's good energy! I'm thankful to know I'm not the only one who practices "energy exchange" with my girls! + Rep to you BC! Peace!

Looks like clear/milky trichomes, and it looks like your calyxes are beginning to swell


Check out the last week of my grow pics, and you can kinda see how the calyxes start fattening up... The brown hairs will grow back into the bud, don't worry about the new ones really. Mine kept growing white hairs to the end even though it was ready to cut.

You will probably notice an amber tinge when you look at your buds soon, that's the amber coming. Trichomes go from clear with very little psychoactive cannabinoids, then it turns milky white which means it's peaking in THC, then it turns amber when the THC degrades into CBD/CBN. You want a balanced body high with the head high so you want to have some amber crystals. Also by noticing your thrichomes are turning amber you know the THC levels have peaked, and are beginning to degrade. That's the best time to cut

Outdoor plant update day 63

I cut off alot of yellow leaves because they were... yellow and i dont want people to see my plant on the balcony.

why are some of the leaves really dark especially around the buds?

lol i bought one used it for about a week and then dropped it so its broken.

then because i wasnt going to use tigerbloom for the last 3 weeks i was too lazy to buy a new one for just one week.

so ive just been giving them mollasis 1tbs per gallon

Damn that sucks about the Ph meter! You know whats funny, I did the same exact thing the day after I got mine!! Stoners lol.. Fortunatley mine didn't break

That does look like a ph issue from my little experience.. Either way plants are looking really good, cant wait to see this through!

Yea I think thats right around the time I just got my ph meter in. I'm glad I got it figured out, even though the original 2 SR's where males..

ive seen a few plants from this strain get a really dark almost purple tent to some of the upper leaves during the middle of flowering..it might be part of its genetic makeup also...not saying something else isnt going on..she seems to be forming some nice buds tho

she is outside so the temps have been really low at night
