get a 250 or a 400w fuck that 1000w. wouldnt you want to run it for the rest of the grow, instead of 8-9 days.
plus 1000w causes to much heat to cause suspeciousion.

My friend won't let me run HID's so I have to do it while he's gone for the next week & 1/2. Of course I would want to run it for the rest of the grow. If it was up to me I would have run HID's since week 3-4 of veg.
A 1000 will do a lot more in 8-9 days than a 400. Plus I plan on using it in the future.

Day 33 of flowering:
Ok so I got a deal on a 400 watt hps brand new for $125. Will use it for future grows, but for now it's only for the next 7-10 days. 20 lb co2 tank ran out today, so no more co2. Just the hps for the next week or so. Hopefully it swells the buds up nice. There's about 800 watts total in the room now along with the cfl's, which I mounted in the back of the room vertically next to the smallest plants.
I did have a slight catastrophe when the cfl hood fell over on a couple of smaller diesels after I thought I had moved it. Not sure how they weren't completely destroyed but as it is just a few branches bent. I'm counting on them bouncing back over the next week or so, but it's really not a big deal, there's a lot of other much more developed buds/plants in the room that didn't take a hit.

Damn, I was thinking of keeping my SR male but I'll probably end up chopping it like the other 3.. I don't blame you for cutting it, did you do anything with the clippings or just trash them?

haha thanks smelly, I'm thinkin they are lookin alright myself. Actually the male plant just died on it's own, the large root system didn't want to sustain the smaller shoot I left for some reason. It might not have been getting enough light too...
& yes, trash... I plan on having plenty of hash material too, the resin production is looking quite nice so far & I plan on using the weird looking diesel plant for hash projects as well.

Hey Rom, those diesel's that you say look weird, from what it looks like in the pics, they are being eaten by bugs....

Nah it's just stress otherwise they'd all look like that. Those plants looked weird from the moment they sprouted. I do have some gnats or fruit flies that were brought in from outdoors but they aren't eating the plants. Everything is really healthy except for those two.

HPS is makin them happy. Even the slow ass trainwreck finally has trichs on it now. The buds stink to high heaven, sickenly sweet. I'm gonna need to make a carbon scrubber. Here's pics.
