I would probably do it the old fashion way and start off with a dilluted solution...okay so no matter how much i hook up the power strip breaker should kick before a fire would start right?? and also when i bought my hydro setup i bought botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow and Pure Blend Pro Bloom, the guy at the hydro shop showed me a feeding schedule in the back of his 2010 hydrofarm retail catalog and told me to follow it. now i know that if i follow the directions on the bottle i'll prob end up burning and killing my plants but i was just looking at the catalog and it very similarly to what the bottle says (7.5ml/gallon starting off) with the exception that the catalog only says to use one nutrient at a time(instead of both on each watering). so do you think it is safe for me to follow the feeding schedule in my catalog without burning or killing my plants?
If it only started happening when you got the new nutes, they're most likely the problem, go back on the old nutes you were using and see what happens...can veg chems go bad...?
my last 3 runs of clones, have no vertical growth, and start popin hairs within 10 days, im runnin 24hr light, and its the same set up ive used for a year with great sucsess.
the only thing that has changed is the veg a+b. its some a buddy gave me to try when i first stared over a year ago, and who knows how long he had it.
im thinkin maybe the chems are bad, shock the clones, and naturaly plants try to flower when shocked....?
View attachment 1090656i usto have 6foot babies like this.... View attachment 1090657 now i cant get any taller than this, before they flower on my.....
fyi its not a auto flower strain.....
I would say closer to the mid-section of the plant, make sure you have at least 3 nodes for a better success rate!Where is the best place to take a cutting from on a vegging plant?
Nute burn, it's too early to use nutes...wait until it's at least 2 weeks before introducing nutes of any kind...hey bob u got a good thread goin on here, i germinated sum seeds i found in a bag of pot about a 8 days ago, they where all growing lovely until i added feed now the leaves have gone slightly droopy and they a patchy green and yellow, what would b causing this to happen? thanks m8 any advice would b appreceited
The plant will not be able to utilize nutrients and eventually will acquire "Nutrient lock-out", it'll start to go downhill pretty fast from there...what will happenn 2 the plant if ph is low like 3.9-4.2? thanks
EC measures the electric conductivity of water, and ppm measures the amount of dissolved salts in water...and the more salts the higher the conductivity of the liquid is...electro conda what?? what does that have to do with plants
Man, I've never seen this before...try cutting off the cal mag and karma...but it kind of resembles serious nute burn...PH is right at 7. Just measured it again.
It has spread since last night. Damn this is frustrating.!
This is what she looked like when I woke up this morning.

uh? that would depend on what is wrong???what is tthe best way 2 remedy my plants or should i just throw them?
You're the guy, with the nute burn, right?what is tthe best way 2 remedy my plants or should i just throw them?
You can't. Only mods can delete threads. How do I delete a thread buddy?
I usually shoot for 6.3 as that is what my nutes say is the "ideal" PH range for nutrient uptake. I personally don't think a point or two is a big deal, anywhere between 6 an 7 is usually fine, but try and stay to the 6 end of the spectrum. Soil or hydro also makes a difference, some hydro users go below 6.hi rocpilefsj can u tell me if i need 2 add more ph down 2 my water 2 get my ph level down it currenty on 6.6 ph? cheers m8
