Q)
1)shud i be putting the fan on the pots and the light? becouse when i do this the soil is getting dry from top becouse of the fan. YOU SHOULD HAVE AIR MOVEMENT AROUND THE PLANTS SO THEY DANCE A LITTLE
2)does it matter how close the light is until they come out the soil? NO
3)what are the most importands things i shud be worring at this stage? NOTHING JUST BE PATIENT
4)temps are at 82-85F shud i be worried? this is with out fans on THIS TEMP WILL BE OK
5)shud i keep the humidity high at this moment?? YOU SHOULD TRY AND KEEP GOOD HUMIDITY ABOVE 60%

hope this helped

Yeah I agree with jondamon.

1) Just blow the fans at the lights for now to keep them cool, wait until your seedling has a few nodes (true sets of leaves, not the round sets) before you start blowing the fan at them. They are weak in the seedling stage and you might blow dirt off the top of the soil if there isn't any roots in the soil. But with what Jon said you want them to dance a little.

2) Not really, the light right now is basically just an indicator of where the light is. It will basically rush out of the soil in search of light, and once it finds the light it will start the growing process.

3) Don't get too worried about your plants. You will want to adjust a lot of fuck with them but just don't. They are weeds, they will grow, you have great conditions and shouldn't have many worries. Just let them be, water them when the soil gets dry and they will grow (in larger pots they say wait for first 2 inches to be dry). The seedling stage is slow, as they don't really react as you would want them to. But once they have some leaf surface area they take off. Usually after the first fan leaf I see plants take off on a huge growth spurt. So that's something to look forward to (& means you've moved from the seedling stage to the vegetative stage.

4) the 82-85f is okay but could be lower. Like 76-78 if possible.

5) You want high humidity during veg (50%-60%), and low humidity during flowering. (20%?) You want low humidity in flowering because the plant senses that it is dry, and doesn't want to shrivel up, so in an attempt to keep itself alive it produces a LOT of resin (THC/Trichomes) to insulate itself and keep itself wet

5 to 6 ft tall. i have had them hit 7 ft indoors.
bloodyhell that is bigg!!

im just scared that my plants grow to tall in my tent as i only got 2m total high. not puting in the reflecter and the space between light and plants

im still making up my mind i dont really want to mess up. im thinking of topping but will the outcome of my yield be less?

Cool on the lights.

Water them, and then wait for the soil to dry out a little before you water againn. Letting the medium dry out a little allows the roots to get oxygen
This is true.

However, the idea is to water around once a week (some setups require more due to environment variables.. but you get the idea.) so that the roots have time to run out of water, and start (growing and stretching) to search for more. The bigger and healthier the root system is.. the bigger; fatter; and denser your buds are going to be. ;)

Once a week, or some experienced growers advise to wait until the top layer (1" or so) of it is dried before watering again. I used to follow this technique.. it worked for me, but I would rather just always water once a week.

anyhow, well put buddy. Nice information. :)

peace..

I actually went and said let the roots dry a little so the root system expanded in search of water and some guy came in telling me I'm totally wrong. But shit I figured that's what trees do why wouldn't cannabis?

And yeah the root system size is a direct reflection of the plants size. So the more roots the larger the plant.

Going by just 'once a week' works sometimes and other times it doesn't. I had my plants in some smallish pots and they drank water like hell, If I missed watering a day they'd be bone dry. But basically as a plant grows from seedling to veg, and then full on flowering it gets larger and larger. So the root system gets larger and larger, meaning it needs more water to drink. So you will find yourself watering them more often as the days go on. But yeah you wont need to water them much when they're small.

hey boys, one thing that was bugging me was to LST my plant. here are some quastions that i cudnt finde the answer to.

Q1) should i LST with the 2m Hight i got?

Q2) if i top will my yield be less? (meaning will i get less buds)

Q3) when is the best time to start LST on the plants?

Q4) ones i Lst my plants will i ever have problem for the high? (2M).

Q5) is there a better metherd to control your hight of plants?

any quastions answerd will be much much appreciate it!! thanks

Q1) should i top with the 2m Hight i got? THE REASON PEOPLE TOP A PLANT IS DUE TO LIGHT PENETRATION WHEN GROWING INDOORS. LOOK FOR THE INVERSE SQUARE LAW ON ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING. THIS WILL EXPLAIN SOME MORE.

Q2) if i top will my yield be less? (meaning will i get less buds) NOT NECESSARILY BECAUSE IF YOU DONT TOP AND RESTRICT VIRTICAL GROWTH YOU COULD HAVE ALOT OF LITTLE POPCORN NUGS UNDERNEATH DUE TO THE INVERSE SQUARE LAW OF ARTICIFICIAL LIGHT as per above

Q3) when is the best time to start LST on the plants? THE EARLIER YOU CAN LST THE BETTER AS YOU WILL END UP WITH MORE MAIN COLAS COME FLOWERING TIME.

Q4) ones i Lst my plants will i ever have problem for the high? (2M). THE IDEA BEHIND LST IS THAT YOU KEEP TIEING THE TALLEST BRANCH DOWN THEREFORE RESTRICTING HEIGHT. SO ASLONG AS YOU DONT START LST WHEN THEY ARE 1M TALL YOU WILL BE OK LOL.

Q5) is there a better metherd to control your hight of plants? LST TOP FIM SUPERCROPPING SEARCH FOR THOSE AND HAVE A LOOK YOURSELF. DIFFERENT GROWERS SWEAR BY DIFFERENT METHODS.

hey man youre doing awesome. I can tell youre pretty knowledgable by looking at ur set up. Even got plastic over the carpet (Which is the best breeding ground for pathogens) haha Any way im jealous of ur setup lol Isee ur having a issues deciding what to do with ur plants considering u only have 2 meters in height. Well my room is the same! Last grow I vegged until they were about 8 inches tall and then went to 12/12. The strains i was growing were sour cream which is a indica sativa mix about 40/60 and blue venom which was a dominite indica strain. The sour cream got about four feet tall including the three gallon pot it was in. It couldve vegged a little longer probbably until about 12 inches tall. The top bud on it weighed 20 grams dry. I didnt top neither one of the plants by the way. The blue venom got to be only about 2 and a half feet tall and its main cola averaged 14 grams. You can find both of these strains on Attitude seedbanks website. I hope this helps man
