Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

I think based on what everyone's said about the nutes with FFOF/Easy Ryder combination, I'm just not going to use any at all. I bought some Perlite and I'm gonna go ahead and mix a little bit of that in with the FFOF, but that's it, unless I see strange behavior from the plants that warrants an intervention.

Your girls are looking great btw!
Hmmm How did you come to this conclusion? You will need to feed your plants. Read the bag of ffof. You will need to feed them after a few weeks or maybe a month. I feed lightly after 2-3 weeks and then after 6 weeks I had to feed them very heavy and they still yellowed out prematurely. Easyriders grow hard and strong and will need food or you will have a small sickly plant. heh This pic shows an easyrider that was very hungry.

What type of perlite are you using? If it is miracle grow perlite be careful because it comes loaded.

Hmmm How did you come to this conclusion?

From several different people here saying that nutes really weren't needed with the FFOF, and if I did use any to do so very sparingly. Been asking for advice and reading existing info for weeks, and of course answers were all over the spectrum, but more people than not said that the FFOF was very strong and already had everything it needed. Obviously I'll react to how they're growing, but for a first grow I can't follow everybody's advice when everybody is advising to do something different.... I do appreciate the input and the pic.

The Perlite is Black Gold, I'm not using any Miracle Grow products at all, just the Fox Farms Ocean Forest and the Perlite.

Plants look good.
I just picked up a 10 pack of Nirvana's NL auto's for my next 2 grows.Didn't think they got that big....Hope I can fit them in my tent..LoL.
Good luck with the rest of your grow.

Peace

Low

I am starting to think these new autos from Nirvana might just enjoy some topping.

What did you pull off that Easy Ryder?

No scale or anything but well over an ounce dry. She is curing still and the main cola alone may be close to an ounce. The nuggets are hard as rocks and I am very impressed.

That looks great man. I'm so glad I went with Easy Ryder. I don't think I've heard one bad thing about it. I was shooting for around 1/2 ounce each. A full ounce each would be awesome.

How long from seed to finish?

the main plant in the center is my LR2 medical grow at day 45, so I've still got 2 weeks plus of flowering. the one on the left is a blue mystic, on the right a jock horror & right front is another LR2.:hump:for those of you familliar w/my earlier pics, the LR2 that was on the left was removed from the cabinet as it was huge and hadnt auto'd. its on a 12/12 shift to see whats up withit.

Any one have any thoughts or suggestions as to how many weeks at the end the plant should be given only pure h20 and does anyone have any experience with FF flowering nutes cha ching or open sesame?
I am really happy with their other nutes and can't see why I wouldnt try these. other than cost and not much difference on an A.F.
Oh yeah the LR2 is in a 5 gallon bucket to put it into perspective!

Some may be but they would not be stable. It would take lots of selection and back crossing over many generations for it to be stable. Here is a little something for you to read. https://www.rollitup.org/breeders-paradise/286994-basic-breeding.html

Thanks I appreciate it, and even as a relative newbie here on the board I'm aware of the Joint Doctor's reputation ;). Like I said, I don't claim to have any experience or knowledge at growing autos, save for what people have told me in reply to my questions, and what I've read all around. More than one person with FFOF/auto experience told me that the FFOF was VERY strong in nutes and that I really shouldn't need any, and if I DID use any to use 1/2 to 1/4 the dosage, but that's all I can say. I appreciate the link, I'll soak it all in and go from there.

My seeds arrived yesterday and I've got one germinating right now. Obviously not going to do them all at once and screw them all up lol, I'll get one going, and if it gets off to a good start I'll probably get a couple more going. That way one will be 1-2 weeks ahead and I can apply lessons learned from the guinea pig to her siblings ;).
