edit* its a daisy cloner by botaincare, not an EZ cloner

Hello just thought I would try to come on here for some helpful insight because I am stumped and my whole operation is getting fu#$ed up!

I have been cloning succesfully for over a year in my 8 site EZ cloner, but now everthing keeps dying!

I have learned all the hard parts about the cloner such as putting it on a timer so it goes on and off every 15 min, using hydroguard for rot, so on and so on.

The only problem I had with the cloner was you had to rip the roots out through the net pots after the clones were established, so i said to myself why not cut the bottoms off the netpots so the roots would just come right out. Well ever since I did that they all just keep dying!

Is it maybe because they are getting too wet now and rotting? They all keep turing to mush and looking all sick and diseased like.

I was also maybe thinking they just got some weird disease at the same time I cut the net pots off because my other plants were looking a little sick?? I dont know im just so frustrated and just wondering if anyone had any idea with what might be going on, thanks for yer help.

well iv been investigating my problem and I think that i may have solved it, you see i just also recently ran out of hydroguard and tried switching to Oregonism instead. well maybe that stuff isnt working as well and thats why my stems are getting all mushy, also the fact that the pots were cut off letting the stems get too wet. either way I orederd new pots and some aquaguard (aparently the replacement for hydroguard). wish me luck!

Can somebody pleasssssssssseee help me!!!???

I dont know whats going on here, there are still dying after one day of being in this damn daisy cloner!! Even the cuttings in a dish of water are still alive but these little bastards keep dying!

I thought maybe it was damping off but not after 12 hours in the damn thing? Its not diseased plants either because I took them off of healty plants this time! How could this be happening after a year of successfull cloning, and now everything just dies. It makes me want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All they do is wilt up and fall over, boo hoo can somebody please help.

Are you sterilizing the cloner after every crop ?

This ^^^ you need to take it apart and clean it REALLY well with bleach solution or Peroxide. Net pots and all. Also the use of H202 in the reservoir will keep things happy as well. Forget Hydro guard. Get the 30% H202 Only need 1 teaspoon a gal. Had the same problem in the past myself.

check the water temps as well.
