whatz the difference between homegrown and good weed?

yea its about flushing and drying and how u raise i dont think hydrophonics or soil matters light matters alot more then that

Neither of the terms you posted are really defined terms, they are loose classifications that are subjective. I'm not even sure what 'good weed' means, it's so subjective, and what one person considers good is someone else's mid's. Homegrown usually just means it's not being done on a large scale, typically by hobbyists and connoisseur. A little might get sold just because an experienced grower can produce more than they can smoke with a fairly small op, but the reason it was grown was because some stoner loves to grow, smoke, and have unlimited supplies of potent pot. This would be opposed to commercial, which is grown with the intent to sell, on a much larger scale (and typically with less individual attention to each plant).

I'll give you an idea of why I switched to growing my own meds rather than buying them from someone I dont know.

1) I know exactly what was fed to my plants
2) I know that the plants were flushed thoroughly so that I dont inhale unnecessary chemicals.
3) When you smoke your homegrown herb, you seem to have a connection with it (I dont know, just how i feel ;))
4) You save a shit ton of money
5) Homegrown is usually more potent than stuff you buy from a dealer but probably equal to that from a club.
6) You always know how old the weed is you're smoking (maybe insignificant, but I always like knowing)

Dude all herb is at one time home grown by someone or other every country going is now produceing grade a cannabis.I have smoked good herb far better than what has won the cannabis cup many many times over here in the uk.It is like the cheese that you can buy in seed form from differant seed companys on the net this is nothing like the cheese that we get here in the uk same has the blueberry and the jackherer.The taste of the 3 strains that i have put are so differant from any on the net and belive me i have tried and tested all of the 3 seeds of the net but they don't come no where near the clone form of the plants we have here.same has trainwreck i have smoked this in the states and it is nothing like the seed bought trainwreck confuseing i hear you say true.The only thing that i can put this down to is there was once one origanal mother of the 3 british strains and after a process of breeding they have become a strain in them selfs but they are hands down the most pukka stuff i have ever smoked the smell is unreal it hangs for dayz you could not take a ounce of this in a car any where because of the smell it can be smelt 3/4 days after the bag has left the car it was taken in.And the taste of the stuff is a joy lovely.Very little trimming is needed has the leafs around the plants the small ones that is are covered in thc.But to answer your question all weed is home grown the only differance is some is grown hydro or organic or outdoors but outdoors is not worth the trouble unless the live in the south of the uk.And some is grown for retail sale but mine is grown for medication and the love of growing a plant that i have had a love affair with for many many years.......................tyke....................................................

I think most experienced tokers can get better stuff in their stomping grounds. I live in the US, and have traveled all over the world to smoke. Most of the legal places will have high quality, but with the exception of some super silver haze in a-dam, the most potent I have come across were things I bought in my home city, and I still think the strongest smoke I have ever had was some homegrown my buddy grew here in the mid 90's. The herb I smoked in the UK from 2001-2009 was great stuff, but I doubt I saw the best, I would have had to live there for a while to have made the connections to get the top product. West coast of the US can easily hold its own against anything the rest of the world can throw at it (and most of the genetics that are seen as european or canadian, are in fact genetics developed in the US, which left in the anti-drug climate of the regan administration). The key is that where it is illegal, it's all who you know, and without living in a place for a good amount of time it's difficult to find the top grade hook-ups.
