Currently 12 peat pods each with germinated with seeds from an unknown strain except one is sour diesle, one of the unknown seeds has broken through to light, lighting is 18/6 currently only an areo gro deluxe light just light not the system. It will be replaced by 200 watt (actual watts) Cfl 6500k for vegging then i'll add a 125 watt 2700k cfl and 2-42 watt and 3-26 watt 2700k cfls for extra light when needed. they reside in a temporary box just a 2x2x4 cardboard box will be replaced in next few days, the store is in a galaxy far far away and am looking for a pilot who can make the the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs, I will be vegging them untill they are either to big or I have a place to move them which ever comes first, if the Diesle makes it i will be taking clones from it and will try to flower a few clones to determine sex if female I will make it a mother if male probally breed it with my current strain witch is unknown (got some plants from a friend, made seeds with them, here we are) I haven't decided if im going to go DWC again or return back to Coir possibly both, nutrients will most likely be house and garden aqua flake or their coir depending on which way I go. uhm im probably forgetting plenty of stuff so feel free to ask any thing any time and i'll be updaating at least two times a week as long as my schedule allows, im normally on everyday. I'll be posting lots of pics as soon as there is something to show.

one seed sprouted this morning planted two more germinated seeds in solo cups in a mix of perlite coco coir and spagnum moss and one in just the moss. i think i might have planted some of the seeds to deep or mabey overwatered a few of the peat pucks haven't seen as many sprout yet as i expected never used peat pucks before
will post pic when more sprout or when i set up the new grow area

During morning inspection two new sprouts were discoverd growing in the solo cups, Miday i checked on them and I pulled the first sprout after it had not been able to pry the entire seed shell off and had died. Will take pics when they are bigger. My phone camera does not take good pictures of tiny things. Thats what she said!!!

Still only two sprouts i belive that the jiffy pucks are two wet and two warm most likly rottings my seeds, im going to wait till tonight if still nothing im going to break down the peat pucks mix it with some perlite and spagnum moss mabey some coir move it into some solo cups and germinate some more seeds.
I'll post pics of the seedlings that did sprout tonight

also about to germinate some jack pine seeds gonna try my hand at the art of bonsai

first pic two little sprouts taken today!
still no others so today i broke down the peat pucks mixed it with some perlite sprayed a little neem oil because im not gonna use it untill more seeds have germinated
Still have not bought a new cabnet to replace cardboard box from ancient grow been busy plenty of free time up ahead for next few weeks will get right on that
will post plenty of pics of the new box as i put it together have plenty of drawn blue prints mabey i'll post some of those later we'll see....

Ok first let me say this again i am not going to be useing that cardboard box i have used it before but its time for a real upgrade in quality
but i'll give you a run down of how things are set up now


mogul light sockets and duct hole for exaust with fan and filter removed i stuffed it with a towl to block the light

i may actually return to coir again this time for space requirements

gonna replace that shitty cardboard box with something sturdy and more light proof

ok so working on design for grow box useing 3d software

yellow orbs represent lights even though they dont look like that
i'll also have ducting running out of the back and across my room to pull in cold air from under vent
black thing on top is filter
the systym is something im trying to figure out in order to get the most plants in there.
I think im gonna use pvc pipe capped at bottom and two feet tall but not sure on the diameter yet.

does anyone know what the smallest diameter is of a pot that wont really effect root growth???

ok and it will most likely still be dwc. each tube will have its own airstone and probably each two will share one pump depends on price of double outlet pumps compared to single.


ask if you have questions. id like to solve problems im going to have. before I build it
