germinating eight more seeds. 4 from differnt dro i've bought in the last year and four more of my seeds from two or three grows ago.
i use paper towl in ziploc bag with filtered water rrest on top of tv set that never turns off, this has worked very well for me in the past and since those peat pucks didn't sprout almost any seeds im not gonna plant with out germinating any more.

still dont forget to answer my question in my last post

Thanks

sup darth, im diggin your style, man. +rep and sub'd
if you have enough room, you should go with an aeroponics system ($75-$100 on the link in my sig). the aero will let roots grow very large with no limit to size, check mine out.
i did a dwc in the past and got root rot constantly. the aero grows hella fast too. if you dont do aero, consider getting a small water pump to circulate the water if your res is big enough. for an enclosure, you should try the tents im using, they are super stealth and dont require any hardware to attach the components like lights, ventilation, cords. They have ports that open/close with drawstrings and reflective material built in. Ill attach a few pics if thats ok. got all my gear from the link in my sig., they did a custom setup for me, i know they have individual components too so hit them up if you want quality.

I always go by 1 gallon of pot per square foot of plant but I'm sure someone on here will disagree.

thanks for reply, +rep
im not really sure what the square feet of my plants are going to be but i will take that into consideration thank you

Root rot is most commonly caused by high water temps. Make sure your setup is %100 light proof and keep your water temps below 70. Make sure you have enough air stones too bacteria doesnt like oxygenated water.

hey man great to have you along, Ive thought about going aero, I have switched medium every time ive grown, outdoor guerilla, then box grow soil, then box grow in coco coir and perlite, last in a closet was dwc. so aero seems like a logical step but I really want to spend a little more time on dwc. I think aero will be next though.

each pvc pot will only be connected through valves that will be closed except when draining in order to create at least 6 single bucket type dwc that can be drained and filled at once

I still need to know if there is minimum diameter of res can i use something that is only 6 inches wide as long as its nearly two feet deep?

I've grown with Dwc before and i allways keep temps in res low, deff light proof dont want green roots lol
thanks for the help guys

If you do 6 buckets in a 3x3 tent doing the SCROG method you are going to have serious space issues (no pun intended) with a single bucket and a screen you can fill the entire 3x3 space in no time at all. Keep it simple man. If you want you can connect a second bucket to it at the bottom as a reservoir and have a pump pumping water to the top of the plant. That way you can keep ice bottles in it to regulate temps and add nutes indirectly or whatever. Gravity will feed the water back into the res. Thats what I do check my grow...

yea I agree with you I will have space problems I already have space problems haha
I wasn't really thinking right earlier when i designed it ive never had space problems with the roots its allways the plants them selves take up to much space so i dont know why i was trying to put more plants in there hahaha must have smoked to much last night any ways thanks much for the help.

I liked your cooling thing by the way, very nice

Today another seedling has sprouted so now there are three again. Another seed germinated so I put it in some coir and perlite in solo cup. Still haven't changed box getting used to new schedule but will make change this week hopefully. Also my pf cake has sprouted some baby mushies they are to small for pics today but tomorow i'll post pics of plants and some mushies.
