by the way guys does anybody know of a place thatll sell cheap coolwhite cfls in the uk thinking about buying a few more the ones ive found are like £15 for 1 75watts light bulb could the be cheaper at like a wholesalers??

electric wholesalers are alot cheaper, i pay about £4.99 for mine, grow shops are wanting about £15-20

This mght not be a nitrogean problem i have seen this many times with new growers i would bet money that you are watering ever day or every other day.There is no need for this when a seedling is at the age these ones are they only need watering when the soil is dry not untill otherb wise this will effect the roots by letting the plant dry this will promote new root growth.

cheers stiffla gona nip into the whole salers sometime next week n get a few more bulbs n no mate growing in B&Q's spesh compost lol got MG aswell but not opend that yet what is canna coco anyways lol?

cheers tyke1973 a few of the others have also said this and yes i was watering eveyday and sometimes twice a day oooops!! letting her dry out not and when she goes droopy ill give her a water hopefully thatll sort the problem

if my lights are on 24/7 if i change them to 18/6 will that help root growth in anyway? just a thought cheers driver

Advice for using Coco Fibre

Coco fibre is such a good growing medium due to its large oxygen capacity and superior water holding ability than other mediums such as rockwool. Coco fibre is the only growing medium that is naturally high in root stimulating hormones and can help protect against root diseases and fungus infestation. One reason it is so effective is that its purpose in nature is to provide the coconut with a rich medium in which to root when it lands in the soil, so it is just doing what it was designed to do.
Top Tips

• Use a specific coco nutrient most common Canna Coco A&B
• Do not feed with just water for prolonged periods
• Once plants have rooted start to bottom feed.
• Coco will lighten in colour as it dry out.
• Although Coco has great drainage its a good idea to add clay pebbles at the bottom of the pots to assist drainage.

i like to have my lights on 18/6 it gives them a rest, its like somebody giving us wizz 24/7 and never resting lol... just leave off the water and the roots will grow,its like trying to run before u walk lol

morning guys last night some one broke into my shed and took the lot seeds ( 40-50 seeds ) plants, fert the lot and even took some power tools im fucking well pissed off even found the bong on the wall of the nabour who i think might have of mates have done it gona nip round for a little word tonight cant belive whats happend gutted any ways thatnks for all ur hell most appreciated top guys

If you get yourself sorted out ... let us know ... At least now you know that too much water is bad ... and that you might be better growing in Coco

I'm allso in the UK and can point you in the right direction to get some cheap gear when you need it

btw .. that box in the background ... the RC Car .... Electric or nitro ? lol

its a nitro rally had it for about 7 8 years and its still kicking fast little car u got any rc cars? was thinking about the helicopter next not anymore though lol

Yeah , Thing is .. now they have been in to your lock up they will have another go at it later ..so not a good idea to grow there now

I'm sure you will sort something out though , Hope you get a grow on again in the future ...It's a Propper hobby lol .. Unlike RC cars that just TAKE all youe money ... with growing you get something back

I used to race and Bash Nitro cars around the UK ... Still got a HPI MT2 and a HPI SS Savage Monster Truck ... LOVE em ... just not got the time to fix them after i break them ( Pretty often lol ) .... Choppers are a rich man's game ...When they break its costin you a shedload of cash to repair .... But im concidering getting one in the future anyways

While your figuring out what your doing regarding setting up another grow ...Keep Reading ... Keep learning ... and try and get your set up sorted and dialed in befor you even plant a seed ... it will be the best thing you ever did
