Found mildew at harvest... what do i do!

So I have been battling mildew my last couple weeks of flowering and it looked like i was winning for the most part.

I soaked the plants in an organic mix that is supposed to kill it all and be safe up until harvest to use.

Now that I am trimming I noticed some small patches of mildew INSIDE the buds. I can't see it with the naked eye but I can with my 30x magnifying viewer. Sorry no pics my camera can't see it either.

Can I clean it? Kill it? smoke it? sell it?

how mad is this stuff.. it seems like such a little amount i don't know if I should worry about it.

I bet if I looked at bread at 30x I wouldn't want to eat it either...

any advice??

any cautions I should take while drying??

Try burning sulfur in the early weeks. 2 hours a day when the lights first go on.
PM likes cooler temps. cool temps means more humidity. Dont let your room get cold when the lights turn off either.
I suggest u sell that and go buy a thermostat for your outtake.
It could also be caused by over crowding or unclean grow place. goodluck

thanks... I will try to keep the room warm and dry to prevent spread during drying.

This was my first grow and I def learned a lot of lessons on PM.. yes I was over crowded and yes I was forced to relocate into an unclean garage (did my best to clean but...) and had too high of humidity once and awhile... lots of lessons learned.

anyone know if this stuff is harmful to smoke??

I am worried it will spread during drying... I have it hung in a laundry room that had drying strings anyway and is light tight like any closet.

I am reading that if you dry your buds fast you fuck up taste and it is harsh to smoke.. but that one method is to dry in oven at 150 degrees or using a dehydrator. I know I know this will make my bud taste bad but i am more concerned with the mildew...

I am thinking an oven might dry fast (less days to worry about spreading) and maybe even kill that shit.

Oh and I am gonna sell it for sure.. but id still like to make the best bud I can before I do.

cant wait to take the money to the shop for some good stuff!! haha! and to wtf i am doing in my garden

I'm sorry, but advising someone to sell off weed that he or she wouldn't smoke themselves is just short of criminal. Mold spores can kill in the lungs of a susceptible human, depending on the strain. In those it doesn't kill, it can inflict asthma, pnuemonia, fevers, excessive sneezing, coughing, etc.

Do yourself and fellow smokers a big favor and throw it in the trash. Even if you were able to kill the mold in the oven, TH dissipates beginning at 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Again, selling or giving away moldy herb is going to bring down some seriously bad karma on you.

thanks for the karma concerns but i wont be lying to anyone about the situation. some ppl smoke anything! hell they may even pay extra if its laced with mildew lol

I have read in other threads that ppl who just removed infected areas smoked what was left and no harm was found. My infection is not that bad I just want to keep it from spreading while drying...

Any tips for fast drying or def ways to kill the mildew would be appreciated greatly. Anyone ever dried with dry ice in a freezer??
