well honestly, iwas on celexa and buspor which is an anti anxiety depression combo and i smoked weed at the same time i was happy happy joy joy
the reason your days are so irritable when youre not smoking weed is cause simply youre not smoking pot which puts you in abetter mood tolerate more bullshit ect. i stopped taking my meds when they ran out after the thrid month and i didnt get anxiety until a bit after however it got REALLY bad , it was about 2 years after i stopped my meds and it was so bad i had to stop smoking weed cause weed would trigger it
now i take a few puffs here and there only when im at home though.
i honestly can say you should still take the meds but smoke pot at the same time, these meds are there for a reason , weed tends to sometimes trigger anxiety in lots of people especially certain strains as of right now im trying to cope with my anxiety on my own, however i have this crazy thing where i have to check my pulse alot

damn .... yeah I just stopped taking the meds a couple weeks ago and I feel better i was having these dizzy spells all the time if I just got up out of nowhere I would almost pass out the heat would play a big issue too when I was on the pills and even though I was on the clonazepam it was harder for me to sleep ..... plus I was having stomach problems the medicine I think did help a little with my anxiety other than that it did nothing for me that I can remember.... I just smoke now and it has helped alot especially a nice indica at night relaxes me I don't get bothered by noises or the baby crying as much no real anxiety attacks as for depression I try to smoke a sativa for that during the day...

Your experience differs from mine. I wasn't a habitual marijuana smoker until I was aware of the possible benefits and decided to try it out. I wanted to start and see what the difference was, and behold things got better. This was after trying a few various drugs from the doc over a period of years. I was asstounded at the results based solely on the lack of adverse effects and warnings while using marijuana for my problems. There wasn't one thing the doctor prescribed to me that DIDN'T have some kind of undesirable side effects. To name a few : loss of apetite, sleeplessness, sloth, night sweats, uncontrollable dry mouth etc etc. All kinds of weird things going on with my body while adjusting to or just being on pharm drugs. With my medicinal marijuana, I get the same positive effects without any of those funky things going on. I shouldn't have to experience an "adjustment" period to a drug, I shouldn't have to deal with exasperated syptoms I'm trying to aleviate(even if for a short while) and I most certainly shouldn't have to risk hurting my body... I should, however, be able experience total relief and not worry about backlash in any form. MMJ does this for me.

This is why MMJ needs to be legalized in every state because it really does help people ... my cousin has MS but he doesnt smoke.. he takes a ton of medicines I beleive that just destroy his liver nothing but toxins. People need to really get the word out that MMJ has huge benefits to multiple diaseases out there ....

A close friend's mother, who is basically family, also suffers MS. I feel for your cousin and his situation. MMJ really makes the difference for my friends ma. Between the constant ailments of the disease and the side effects of the prescribed meds she needs that smoke to keep things copacetic. I guess there isn't MMJ where you are from. Have you ever considered helping your cousin out and growing meds for extracts and edibles since he doesn't smoke? I mean, you are in the 600 club lol.

I have valium....I love valium. With a smoke it's A1.
We're not really talking about recreational use of pharmeceutical drugs on this thread, but right on. I'm glad there are people that can actually take that stuff and get a desired result. Even if it's just to get loaded. Other wise, that crap is over-prescribed nationally and used by the wrong people. Just one more reason MMJ is a viable option.

love the avatar dr.
In reference to what you said about my dr.s.
my mental therapist is the one stating that the benefits of cannabis is harmful, namely schdzo and she also names a few more that i dont bother to listen to. On the other hand the dr that i trust the most my neurologist has told me that he recommends using cannabis, ( even thou his medical lic could be ripped from him) he told me that if it were legal he would rx it to 90% of his patients, because it works. and he also had stated that he had seen a huge difference in me. for instance my pain was increased at least 60 % since i quite using on a daily basis, the muscle rigidity was worse than before, and simply my attitude plan sucked, lol i had to laugh at that one. but he only recommends it to people that he knows that had or has smoked in the past. and he felt that starting to use on the basis of when needed in stead of using pills again would help me. he also had recomended a family dr that feels the same way about mmj, so im hoping that things will get better.
I also would like to state that Valium although heavily rx'ed does help some, but is like every other drug out their it all depends on how u use it. if you take it every-time you think you might trip on your shoe laces, your going to have a huge tolerance and its not going to work any more. which is why mmj wasn't working for me in the past when i was a heavy smoker a half would last me about 5 days, it all depended on when my kids where around.
I hate what the pills have done to me, and what they will do to me. but i have learned a lesson. that mmj is a medicine and if u abuse it like i did in the past it will turn on you like everything else.
i love this thread lol

Thank you, there is new insight for this thread now. You mentioned moderation and that's key. Using "MMJ " is just what it sounds like. Using a medicine. I know there is an over-whelming majority taking recreational use as serious as we take medicinal use, but getting high just to get high isn't nearly the same as using Cannabis as a therapy. I don't talk down on recreational use AT ALL, but I don't like MMJ laws being used as a crutch to justify your use. If you need it, you need it. That's that. Listening to what you have to say makes me positive there are still those that use MMJ for what it's supposed to be used for. Along with the other folks around here who have chimed in.

I was one of those people that started out smoking to get high, quit for a while and then i got hurt at work and the drs did nothing for me and i was suffering with a torn rota tor cuff, but it wasn't surgical ,and the company denied physical therapy.
any ways i went to a party and a couple of friends were smoking and i had to get into the action. and all of a sudden my shoulder didn't hurt. so i bought some from a friend and started cause it helped. but then i took it in the wrong direction and started having more back issues along with the shoulder injury. and started to smoke from the time my eyes opened to the time my eyes shut. a bowl a hour. from their i finally got a dr to look into my back pain and started on meds and still smoked, but my therapist talked me into being a quitter, but i di learn that it did help untill i was smoking a half oz in less than a full week
and my tolerance grew with the overwhelming demand, i grew plus i had to buy because of my habit had gotten outa control.
and now im thinking about growing again, increasing the amount of plants. but know i can only handle 2 hits and im gone so i dont know if it would benefit me more than the risk to grow in a non friendly state. and the only thing i can get now is mexican crap. so what do you guys think grow good organic or is the risk to much?

If you really think having the herb will benefit you and you know how to get away with it without trouble than do it. It will save you $$ and risk of associating with drug dealers. Chances are if you're in a place with only shitty mex brick weed available, the guys selling that will have all kinds of dope to boot. Do what you think you can within your limits. So long as you don't start smoking more than a 1/2 oz a week again you should be fine and be able to keep your numbers small. And now that I think about it, I would have to smoke a 1/2 oz per week to get by on that shwag too.
