Sounds like I need to pop some of my Jillybean beans!
Highlander had an amazing pic of JillyBean in his TGA grow thread and it's the main reason I got it. Unfortunately I can't find the pic anywhere. It's later into flower and it's a rainbow of different colors and it says "JillyBean" and then how far into flower it is in fun fonts on the sides.
Anyone happen to have that picture saved somewhere?

i have been growing jilly for about 8 months now. currently i am growing the shorter pheno. according to mzjill:
The third and final phenotype (sometimes referred to as the skunk phenotype) is closer to the Orange Velvet and possesses a skunky candied-orange flavor. It seems to be very similar to AE’s Cali-O strain. While it’s not the same plant, it is likely related. This third phenotype is found only about fifteen percent of the time. It is the shortest of the three and has a high pistil-to-leaf ratio. While it has the smoothest taste, it also has the smallest yield.
they are only between 18-24 inches tall because i flower early. box grow with only CFL's. about 300 watts total in the box with two plants. fox farm dirt and nutes. lots of air flow.
i am yielding over an OZ PER PLANT dry, of the most yummy brain bomb i have found.
she is worth the effort.

i expect it would be something like an outcross as opposed to a backcross to emphasize the traits of the grandparent... which begs the question: why would you outcross jillybean with c99 or rommy when there are perfectly great tasting pure 99's and/or rommy's in circulation? or to put it a different way, *why* would you do that??? just asking, not picking a fight here...

i was using my imagination. im sure you have a creative ideas that you wonder about. i know what a backcross is. crossing an f1 back to its parent. example "the flav" from sub. rom x c99 backcrossed to rom. this is a jillybean related post/thread. so with the info i mentioned before, i wondered what kind of result taking a jillybean and, instead of backcrossing to a parent such as the impossible to find orange velvet or space queen, but instead went and outcrossed to a grandparent like c99[known for short flowering,low odor, and good potency] or romulan [known for devastating potency] what the end result would be called. f1? outcross, backcross? so the result could be a more stable, low odor, quick finishing orangy tasting sativa dominant c99/jilly combo or possibly a piney/spicy, orangy kushy possibly leaning more on the indica side rom/jilly. hey subcool care to contribute?
