View attachment 1127514you must be talking about the last pic. its a trainwreck that i was growing. i did what everyone said not to do. i took all the sun leaves off because the buds were growing together so tightly that there was NO light penetration at all. the plant stayed small. under 2 feet but produced over 1 1/2 ounces... now back to the topic of this thread. while i do agree that good equipment will produce good results, there is NO substitute for experience.... all the high dollar toys wouldn't have helped me with my first grow. i was an idiot. 3 grows later and i've replaced $$$ with knowledge. now i can grow plants that produce ounces instead of grams. and i don't spend huge dollars. this years grow has cost me about $50-60 and i should get about a pound.

mind imparting some knowledge? I still can't seem to get my plants to grow over 3 feet in less than 2-3 months, while some can do it in 1 month in a 3 gallon pot.. I don't get it... although my plants do have super tight node spacing grown indoors or outdoors. Wonder what I'm doing differently. I really want to grow an 8 ft tree.

What nutrients / soil do you use? I've been using a 3-1-2 ratio, but I'm starting to wonder if these plants need more p/k in veg like a 20-20-20 nute.

Lol no LEDs are not superior I just happen to love rotors instead of pistons and don't understand his statement. Stable to me means I can take a male and a female make seeds and come out with F1 offspring that shows little to no differences. A clone could be from any generation and is by no means stable.

This year so far I have spent €12.50 on a bottle of BioCanabium floracion fert, and 21 UKP on 5 Seedsman White Widow feminised seeds.
I sprouted three and sold the other two along with some seeds remaining from 2009 to another RIUer for $20 US, so that defrays my costs a little more.
OK, I reprocessed last year´s soil, and refreshed it with some substrate and wormcasts and perlite I had left over, and all my tubs etc I have from before, and I will spend a few Euros more on molasses. My lighting is free.

Result so far, here is one of my ladies:




Tied down, so each branch acts like the main cola - I will be surprised if I don´t get an ounce off of each branch - and I have two more girls like that.

Looking to be real sticky colas as well - after all it IS White Widow.

Now I reckon that IS REALLY inexpensive bud.
