9th week flowering in indoor , yellowing on buds close to light

Hello,

I'm currently on my 9th week of flowering, going on a sativa. Had a rootlock and most likely a nute lock 3 weeks back tho I flushed with water and transplanted and since then she has been doing very well. Yesterday I took them outside of the grow room for some cleaning and what I was able to notice is that the nice tight buds that got most light intensity having their fan leaves turning yellow. They are really close to the 250w hps lamp (about 8-12cm) but there is nothing to do about that anymore (sativa, tall, first time grower in a small box ,, yeah yeah i know i'll go on a shorter indica next time.)

I'm not sure if this is a light burn or a nitrogen def since it's not looking light other light burns my plant has suffered. It's just yellowish and appears only on the ones close to the lamp.

So, i thought till know that a nitrogen def would affect the whole plant, could it be affecting those buds only due to it getting more light intensity? meaning it's sucking up more sugars than what i'm feeding?

The photo is abit blurry, i'll try getting a better one 2moro.

See now thats some bud pics. The shots look fine to me and since they are that deep in flowering i doubt that its light burn maybe lack of nitrogen. It still looks like at least 3 more weeks to go as well.

I told you I had buds :) yeah i'm expecting them to stay in there for about that long, question is... if i'll feed them with some nitrogen will it fix the issue or i'll have to spray feed to get up that high?

No you can give them some nutes with a little bit of n should fix the problem.

dont spray that deep in flower.... use N throughout flower. alot of people say plants dont use nitrogen during budding. they are wrong. things look ok but you might want to move the light up just a bit

Trust me, I would love to be there is no more room and I can't tie the plants anymore down without seriously stressing them... It's just going to have to be like this for another month until I'll have my next operation implementing all the things I learned from going wrong on this one.

Looks like heat stress to me. If it's not the only problem, it's one of them, as evidenced by those curled edges of the fan leaves. Hmm....You're going to have to add more fans blowing across the top of the canopy, move the plants off to the side, or move the light. You could also LST a little too, which won't hurt anything. At any rate, they still have a couple weeks to go, and it wouldn't be a good idea to leave them baking, for that long.lol :)

hey, are those indica's? if so it's normal I suppose, If I were with indica they should have been ripen by now... But its a 11-12 week sativa that will probally take 12-13 weeks. I think I typed a few times that i'm going indica next time :)
its grand daddy purple. and your right they start finishing at week six to 7. im letting sum go to week 8 and its looking like overkill to me

yeah well i have lst'ed them as much as possible without causing serious stress.... this is after pinching most branches so they are really tough stems atm. I have 2 intake fans giving best air circulation I can, however, the tempature in my country is around 35cm this summer, with a very long summer (will stay that high for atleast another month). Air conditioner only taking the temps down to 27 outside the grow closet, having the temps inside the closet at 31 (it's the max I could of done, it was at 40 degrees before working on my air circulation). Darn global warming.....

I went through the same thing bro! :) you will learn. triggering your girls early is key to a good harvest. and surprisingly theres a learning curve the other way. Next you will put the light too far away and get spindly nugs. There is a very hard to find happy medium fo r the height of the lights. and the is one of the millions of variables that will effect your girls. Keep Growing bro! :) :)
