Ok so Im SICK of hearing people in my region call good bud "dank" or "dro".
here's a conversation i heard:
"know where I can get some kind bud?"
"no, but I know where you can get some dank" :?:evil:

next up, a conversation online with someone saying "marijuana is an addictive drug":

"marijuana is and addictive drug, man"
Me: "wtf, no it isnt"
him: "yes it is, i went to rehab for it!"
Me: "oh really?? what strain did you smoke most?"
him: "Dro"

WTF!!! This dude was lying trying to give marijuana a bad name. ANYONE who would have to go to REHAB would sure as hell know "Dro" is NOT a strain.

LOL,,you actually used the word Sick,,in it's proper form,,in Canada,,kids don't say oh man,,thats wikked,,they say awww man,,thats sick,,I watched a car go by,,heard some kids go,,thats sick,,i was lookin and thinking,,paints nice,,and doesnt sound like it needs a tune-up:hump:

ya ,,I understand em pretty good,,I'm 40 and do roofing,,I have had a lotta younger workers come and go,,all races,,I know alllllll kinds of slang,,but I don't use much of it,,just what I grew up with,,ok,,maybe one or two:mrgreen:,,I'm white Canadian,,and worked with a lotta Jamaicans Trinnies,,Guyanese,,so sometimes at work,,when a guy does something ,,I'll say What de bloodclot??,,just kiddin though,,Know what I'm sayin:hump:

those dont bother me as much... because bud is bud and chronic is a strain... but DRO is only a way of growing... anything can be grown hydroponically...

i believe bloodclot,,is there way of saying bloodcloth,,which in turn is a reference to a tampon,,or bloody rag,,so I guess if one dude is callin another dude,,a bloodclot,,,maybe it stands for bleeding pussy or something,,like I said,,I'm white:mrgreen:

Seeing the connotation used with this term this would be the most likely root of the word... I just cant bring myself to reason that they are saying hay you stupid menstrual paper... You f!N& tampon... it just does not make any sense...

yeah im from nyc, ive heard dro since i was a kid to be honest. i had a brother 6 years older that smoked too and he probably put me onto the word. but definitely heard over 10 years ago

what bugs me about it is that most people who say dro think its either A; a strain, or B; a term for kind bud, which neither is the case. i was a big fan of hydroponic growing (dwc to be exact), but after my last all organic crop... im sticking with organic. the taste!
