Shopping for lighting and gear..

Hey guys, I was just looking for supplies to start my very first grow room. So yeah, here's what I was able to find:

Is 90w ok to use? or would it not be enough?

Thanks! if anyone can link me to a website where I can get lights like this for eally cheap, as well as real stores I could check out? And I need to find some light fixtures, where can I get those?

If its 6 bucks a bulb check out this site it's cheaper http://www.1000bulbs.com/category/2-to-200-watt-cfl-compact-fluorescents/ You'll want something around 6500k for vegging and 2700k for flowering get bulbs over 23W

The second one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000STISB6/...SIN=B000STISB6 is good for flowering. First one isnt really good for anything try getting 6500k for veg. I dont reccomend buying any lights online the shipping and stuff ends up(even if its free shipping) to a bad deal. I saw a great deal at home depot a HUGE box of 12 100watt cfls for 6 bucks? good stuff. Get your lights at home depot and walmart best deals

Yeah then its 12 dollars shipping so its 18 dollars a bulb...so like i said less than 50 cents a bulb 12 pack 100 watt for 6 bucks look at the bottom its called the VALUE PACK. Remember 2700K for Flower and 6500K Veg

oh yes it took me a long time to get this info so i know all this ;D home depot and lowes both have it for a dollar a pop just ask for a Socket to Outlet Adapter. Go to my growjournal its under this thread look at CFL growing its called Jock Horror Autoflower. I use the same thing plugged into a Wall Outlet in my PC its awesome i also use C02 ive seen 30% faster growth rates ill put a new pic up soon they have LOTS of leaves compared to others at its age cfl or 400watt hps

yeah, now I just need the ones for vegetative growth cycle . Actually once I get everything together, I'm going to do my first official grow. Kinda off topic, but where can I get hydro supplies for like really cheap? or is it in general more expensive?

Well I dont really reccomend Hydro, their not as forgiving as soil and not really worth the $ you spend, but thats just my opinion. Like I said once more look up in google "your city+ hydroponics" you almost ALWAYS have a better deal buying at stores. Peat moss is too acidic for cannabis it'll cause stunted growth/future problems :/ but its too late i suggest you put it in your final home now so as soon as it can the roots can start bonding to the regular soil

Hey extremist i got a question for ya... and sorry for sounding like a newb.

in those lights you recommend (6500k and 2700k).. where is that specified on the box? (specifically the one you posted). It only says 23W and 1600 Luments. What is a 'k' anyways?

Also... is there a specific shade of white ur supposed to get? full spectrum, natural light, white, etc?
