yea i did that 2 days ago & thats how much they have grown since then! the adopties are at 1 foot now is that the normal height for 5 weeks?
just thinking they arnt all that big if they are going to go into flowering in a weeks time!

Wow.. thats some growth in a short space of time.... Lower your light and they wont stretch as much... Great job... are you sure your a newbie...?
yea first time! see im scared to lower the light coz of the 3 adopties they are at a foot in height & if i lower the light im scared they will burn from the heat!
do u think 1 foot on height is good enough height for 5 weeks?
is it not 1 more week then i have to put them into flowering?
sorry had to edit the post as the boy i adopted them of got in contact & reckons they need 12 weeks of veg before i put them into the 12/12 how is that possible is there no way i can put them into flowering quicker?

i would give them 4 or 5 weeks more before trying to flower them mine were over 3 foot tall before i started mine ,but saying that mine was green house grow and had a crappy july weather
am still learning myself , if am wrong am sure some 1 else will give u the info u need
thats great thanks pity i thought if i was lucky & got 1 female i would have it sorted for xmas for my partner
he'll not be a happy camper now!

There are many ways to make hash. Flat screening and blender hash are relatively easy and inexpensive, but the final product will contain more contaminates than drum machine and bubble bag hash, which require some financial investment. No matter the method, hash makes great use of scraps.
THC levels vary in different plant strains, but the most potent hash is one made entirely of gland heads. Most hash contains gland heads and stalk as well as contaminates. Contaminates, whether vegetable matter or otherwise, lower the potency.
Blender
Unlike the previous methods which use screens to filter the trichomes, the blender method uses the principle that the resin glands are heavier than water, while other plant material is not.
The blender method uses water, ice and agitation to dislodge the trichomes. Ice-water makes the trichomes brittle, causing the resin glands to solidify and become easy to snap off. The glands are heavier than water so they sink to the bottom when separated, while the plant material floats.
To make hash this way you'll need a blender, ice cubes, a reusable metal coffee filter or silk screening, a large glass jar and paper coffee filters.
Fill the blender about half-way with skuff, then cover with cold water and add a tray of ice cubes. Blend for 45 seconds to a minute ? the mixture will become green and frothy, like a smoothie. Pour this mix through the metal coffee filter into your glass jar. Run more water through the filter to make sure you haven't missed any trichomes.
Once your jar is full, put it in the fridge to settle for a minimum of 30 minutes. You 0should be able to see a white or blonde coloured substance settling on the bottom of your container ? those are the trichomes. Carefully, so you do not disturb the trichomes, pour off or siphon off about two-thirds of the green water.
If you have more skuff to process, do it now and filter into the container you just drained. Return to the fridge, allow to settle and siphon again. When you have processed all your skuff, add a few ice cubes to the container and let settle one last time.
If you want to increase the purity of your product you can carefully put this settled mixture back into the blender for a final mix and separation. This may or may not be necessary depending on your preference.
Pour the final mix of water and trichomes through a paper coffee filter. The water will pass through the paper but the glands will not. Drain well and allow to dry. You now have dried resin glands ready to be pressed into hash.

I've had seddlings going for nearly two weeks now and are nearly the same size as they were last week... Lack of lumens...was the problem.. oh and pesky catterpillars... A couple of weeks this shit has been going on.. eating my leaves and rolling them selves up in silk beds..!!

What light you using again..? think it was a 400w hps (not searching back as im baked)
Also whats the space of the grow room is... this will decide when you should start flowering really..
Think weed plants only need 6 weeks before they are mature to flower.. I read that somewhere..
Hows the temp in the room and air flow as this will decide how close /far you should have your light, if its 400w.. i'd give it 2 ft for now.
Also, if you want smoke for christmas then auto strains is the way to go, will be nicely cured by then....

400watt hps couldnt tell ye size of space but defo big enuf 4 the 3 plants temp is always between 25 & 30!
fan going all the time window open etc with them other babies growing i think i will stick to wat i have at the mo
cant afford to buy seeds at min well good seeds that is!
can u get purple kush in auto strains he seems to like that one for some reason!

Yeah that sounds cool to me... 30'c a little high but shouldn't be anything to worry about..
Just cos a seed cost a lot of money doesn't mean its the best or the strongest.. You get it for the stone it gives you.. I use pick and mix seeds.. you can buy single seeds from there..

yea i no but just want to see how i get on with these before i even think on anymore as i dont have a clue wat im doing half the time!
i woke this morning to find 2 of the larger plants there leaves have started to curl up into themselves & are slightly brown & yellow at the edges wat could this be?

i had my plants in green house 24/7 i no i was told to keep them on 12/12 but other nite was to many people about so left them in green house and 1 of plants i been trying to sex for few weeks has now sexed and its a female
i was in green house to day give top of plant a good rub fingers were sticky bit like blank lol and smell was soooo good
