I'm not trying to prove anything to you. You keep claiming there is some sort of exempt license and expansion certificate to allow you to grow more than the normal state minimums. I've been in this business several years and this is the first time I've ever heard anything about it.LOL every thing in that artical prooves me right
what r you trying to proove to me....
No it doesn't. Prop 215 doesn't include limits. That would be SB420.prop 215 allows 8 oz of DRIED cannabis as well as 12 plants (total) only 6 being mature
at one time
So yes, according to the law books, state AG guidelines, and California supreme court ruling a patient can have you to 99 plants if the doctor permits it.H &SC 11362.77 (b) If a qualified patient or primary caregiver has a doctor's recommendation that this quantity does not meet the qualified patient's medical needs, the qualified patient or primary caregiver may possess an amount of marijuana consistent with the patient's needs.
ask ur pops if he can extend my plant limit my dood

All I'm trying to do is ask you where I can find information on this "exempt license" and "expansion certificate"?
No it doesn't. Prop 215 doesn't include limits. That would be SB420.
SB420 also says this:

Are you saying bud size and density are the most sought after characteristics? I get good bud sizes but density is always a little tough, more on certain strains....i believe this is a result to lighting. I only use two 400 watters. Does co2 help this density as well?Yeah. Unfortunately when dealing with clubs it really doesn't matter how good the buds are if they are small, they just aren't as desirable. It's the #1 most important characteristic.

Dan, you handle debates well. Showing quotes supporting your claims, providing links...and keeping it cool throughout the process.
I read the link about kellys vs people, very interesting. It seems (as you said) this will give you a defense in court but you will still have to prove the need for this many plants medically, correct? How would one go about this...basically a good lawyer right? It seems hard to prove (even with a lawyer) that 99 plants are needed for one persons medical needs. Am i missing something here?
Yeah, sort of. I mean weak are weak buds and buyers can definitely tell the difference, they look at buds all day. But if the buds aren't big enough through out the pound then they won't buy it as top shelf ever. Smaller buds can never get past the $45 (maybe $50 if extremely good) pricing. Are you saying bud size and density are the most sought after characteristics?

I think it's a result of heat more than lighting. I've noticed certain strains fluff up in the heat. If I can keep my room temp in the 70s I don't usually get fluffy buds. High 80's and I definitely get density issues. I'm not sure about co2 helping with density much. Definitely helps with yield. I've grown the same strains with and without co2 and they turned out pretty similar in density.i believe this is a result to lighting. I only use two 400 watters. Does co2 help this density as well?
Not always. I try though. But I do my best to discuss the facts.Dan, you handle debates well. Showing quotes supporting your claims, providing links...and keeping it cool throughout the process.
As of right now, the state AG guidelines seem to be as important as prop 215. Over 99 plants can possibly get you attention from feds, in which case all bets are off.I read the link about kellys vs people, very interesting. a) MMP:2 Qualified patients and primary caregivers who possess a stateissued
identification card may possess 8 oz. of dried marijuana, and may
maintain no more than 6 mature or 12 immature plants per qualified patient.
(§ 11362.77(a).) But, if a qualified patient or primary caregiver has a
doctors recommendation that this quantity does not meet the qualified
patients medical needs, the qualified patient or primary caregiver may
possess an amount of marijuana consistent with the patients needs.
(§ 11362.77(b).) Only the dried mature processed flowers or buds of the
female cannabis plant should be considered when determining allowable
quantities of medical marijuana for purposes of the MMP. (§ 11362.77(d).)
Actually that all does sound correct. (it's a little hard to read, but I think I get it).and yea that your right my bad i ment sb420 my dad pointed that one out and he said for me to read this
its stateing the laws of the kelly ruling and how you get to posses more and cultivate more and not anyone can get it
and the exempt licence is a state wide id card not a permit its self to grow more you need to get a certificant of expansion
from your doctor stating that what you have is simply not enough you have to go though a oarl and written exam
before anything you said it yourself once again "If a qualified patient or primary caregiver has a doctor's recommendation that this quantity does not meet the qualified patient's medical needs, the qualified patient or primary caregiver may possess an amount of marijuana consistent with the patient's needs." if your abbusing your right your not gonna get it
That basically says that a state issued ID card can give you immunity from arrest in certain conditions.1. Physician Recommendation: Patients must have a written or verbal
recommendation for medical marijuana from a licensed physician. (§ 11362.5(d).)
2. State of California Medical Marijuana Identification Card: Under the
MMP, qualified patients and their primary caregivers may voluntarily apply for a
card issued by DPH identifying them as a person who is authorized to use, possess,
or transport marijuana grown for medical purposes. To help law enforcement
officers verify the cardholders identity, each card bears a unique identification
number, and a verification database is available online (www.calmmp.ca.gov). In
addition, the cards contain the name of the county health department that approved
the application, a 24-hour verification telephone number, and an expiration date.
(§§ 11362.71(a); 11362.735(a)(3)-(4); 11362.745.)
3. Proof of Qualified Patient Status: Although verbal recommendations are
technically permitted under Proposition 215, patients should obtain and carry
written proof of their physician recommendations to help them avoid arrest. A
state identification card is the best form of proof, because it is easily verifiable and
provides immunity from arrest if certain conditions are met (see section III.B.4,
below). The next best forms of proof are a city- or county-issued patient
identification card, or a written recommendation from a physician.
Interesting point regarding heat. I am slowly reducing heat as the months pass by installing new ventilation systems/fans. Currently lows are 77 and highs are 88, which isn't bad for a small closet with two 400watt hps. I will continue to strive for lower temperatures. Again, thanks for the information.Yeah, sort of. .
Well yeah, if it's a strain like casey jones, it's obviously going to be fluffy. That might knock $100-200 dollars off the price of a pound, but it's not as important as actual size.

Take 25 plants for example, how could one prove this much use for marijuana? I do not have any life threatening diseases or extreme pain etc. Is this where the lawyer comes in for defense? Not always. I try though. But I do my best to discuss the facts.

It's not exactly strait forward, but as I'm aware, local police all around California are required to comply with them.
quoting from the state AG guidelines:
Nah. That's where your doctor comes in. I'd tell your doctor that you can only grow outdoors and you need to grow a years supply all at once because you can't afford dispensaries. The SB420 limits allow only 8ounces. That's probably fine for indoor growers, but for people who grow one outdoor crop per year that is not nearly enough. That comes out to about .6 grams per day. If you can get your doctor to say you need more than that, then you're good.Take 25 plants for example, how could one prove this much use for marijuana? I do not have any life threatening diseases or extreme pain etc. Is this where the lawyer comes in for defense?
and exactly what i said i cant afford despenerarys prices and i smoked more than i grew lolNah. That's where your doctor comes in. I'd tell your doctor that you can only grow outdoors and you need to grow a years supply all at once because you can't afford dispensaries
I'm unsure if the state shares that information with the feds but that is a very good point and worth looking into.: ( is you get put in federal govermental database aka the system
Yeah. If you go by that state limit (8oz dried product/6mature plants), that comes out to about .6 grams per day of medicine. It's entirely reasonable to ask a doctor to extend that limit on the claim that you grow one crop per year outdoors.and exactly what i said i cant afford despenerarys prices and i smoked more than i grew lol

on a side note - fuck! I'm so sick of trimming! It's been every day all day for over a month and I haven't even started harvesting my main crop yet! This sucks!
What's that? A trim machine? Those things knock the crystals off the buds. I like my crystals just where they are.buy a trim reaper
