also i kno i posted that PPM chart that says seedlings only need 100 to 250 PPM but at the moment i am not having any problems with my seedling it actually looks pretty healthy but i still need help and need to learn how to control the things i mentioned above. thanks alot SLB

Oh, my thought is to exhaust all air through a pantyhose filter ducted to the tube which is ducted to the fan for just 1 exaust hole.

Is your rez. aerated? Aerating the water in your rez. will cause the pH to slowly rise, so if it is, then it's perfectly normal...
IMO, seedlings that young wouldn't need any nutrient supplementation until later on...even in a hydro setup...and the rise in ppm's is normal as well, due to evaporation and partially due to the water intake of your plants...

Can I use molasses last 3 weeks flower, I have been using nutes Gh 3 Part,Mg soil, and was wondering if it would be good to start giving molasses last 3 weeks and during flushing?

hey man here is my post i am having a hard time getting queestions answered so here is the post:

My main question is there too much light when using CFL's? if you look at the photos i am thinking of using 12 total CFL's....im either going to mix the bulbs and use 6500k and 2700k or i will use all 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower....please help!




1. is this too many cfl's? or not enough?

2. would you do alot more smaller or keep the bigger pots?

3. would you use cfl's for veg, flower, or both?

4. how might you set it up? would you do double stack?
so its two bucket stall...that's what im thinking

5. when do i use the different types of cfls? i think from what ive read you use the 6500 for veg and 2700 for flower, but i've also heard use both simultaneously...please help!



6 . should i use the cfls just for veg? or can i set it up so i can grow from start to finish? seed to bud.

7 . What kind of bulbs do i need, do they change from veg to flower?
how far from plant should they be?

8. can i grow from just seeds with CFL's?

9 . should i do a scrog or just normal grow? Scrog sounds interesting and the screen would fit perfect in between two buckets if double stacked...

As you can see i also have a LED light i am going to do a start to finish, veg and flower, under this LED light. It has different settings and spectrums for the different stages***UNLESS*** its a better idea to use the cfl's for one part and the LED for the other.

please tell me what you would do! i have room for two containers double stacked or single stacked, i just want to be able to either be growing twice as much or cropping twice as fast. By that i mean veg with CFL and flower with LED buckets, or just grow one round with CFL and one round with LED at the same time....

WOW! What a post! lol j/k So let's get down to business!
1.)I think that would work fine, there is no such thing as too much light(as long as you can control temperature) I'd go with at least 23 watts bulbs
2.)For a setup like this, I would want to get shorter, wider pots.
3.)You can go all the way with cfl's, from seed to harvest.
4.)I'd do the doublestack for both.
5.)You could go either way, but I prefer to do both simultaneously(dual spectrum), But more 6700k bulbs in veg, and more 2700k bulbs in flower
6.)You can go from start to finish, like said before.
7.)The only thing you need to change is the spectrum from more 6700k in veg, to more 2700k in flower. Try to keep the cfl's 1-3 inches away from the tops of the plants
8.)YES
9.)Scrog would work, I'd go for it.

I'd do 2 containers double-stacked, one LED powered, and one CFL powered at the same time...Then you can compare the bud! and conclude which setup is better!

how often should I be watering them? I got 12 plants under a 1000watt they are clones/teens how many times a day and how long

cani go to home depot and buy some liquid mircle grow or some liquid plant food to give my hydroponic setup nutes instead of waiting forever for flora to come in the mail...

its just that they wont come in for another three weeks and my hydro is already four inches tall and i still havent put anything in the water for nutes. so i was thinking of just putting some liquid miriicle grow for now till they come in because its lookin yellowish
