Dan Kone has highly vested interest in passing 19. He has exploited his medical status as a patient to exploit the system and grow more than he needs so he could raise enough money to set himself up as a corporation.
Guilty as charged. If you had half a brain you'd be doing the same thing. It's a fast moving world. Try and keep up.
But with or without prop 19 I'll be doing just fine. I've got my own medical collective. I don't need prop 19, I just think it's a great opportunity for all Californians. Well, at least all Californians who are willing to participate.
I have no sympathy for those who want to grow/sell bud but are too lazy or too stupid to figure out how to participate in a system that allows you to do it legally. Nor do I have any sympathy for those who want to continue with prohibition because they are currently making too much money price gouging their customers.
In our current system causal smokers who buy weed from their local dealer are absolutely getting ripped off. People are being charged $50 dollars for an 8th that costs under 5 dollars to produce. It's obscene. I plan to participate in putting an end to this. If I make some money in the process I do not apologize for that.
Here, Dan Kone recalls how he paid his lawyer $900 for "advice" on how to set up his fraudulent collective,
There is nothing fraudulent about my collective. I've got 2 lawyers and have consulted with local politicians all to make sure it's 100% legal and beneficial to my community.
I will give any knowledge/information I have on how to be legal and legitimate under prop 215 and how to prepare to be legal and legitimate under prop 19 to anyone who wants to hear it. I do this freely and encourage people to do the same. I'm not greedy. I'm not afraid of competition. I hope everyone here opens their own legal cannabis business. That's how we win in this fight against prohibition.
You trying to characterize me as being a horrible person for trying to help other people says a lot about you.
and he has the nerve to say that people have been exploiting 215 and thats why they are against 19. Nice work, hypocrite.
No. I don't accuse people of exploiting prop 215. I encourage people to exploit prop 215. Prohibition is wrong. I hope one day there will be a dispensary (medical or recreational, doesn't matter) on every street corner in America. I support anyone who fights prohibition by growing or selling cannabis. I don't care if they are exploiting prop 215 or outright growing and selling illegally. They all get much respect from me for disobeying prohibition.
What I don't approve of is a system that exploits cannabis consumers by ripping them off by price gouging them for a 1000%-2000% markup. It's completely obscene that people like you defend this system. It's time for change. Prop 19 can take the illegal risk element out of the process which will remove much of that markup.
There is nothing hypocritical about my viewpoint. It's entirely consistent. I support people who are trying to form their own legal cannabis businesses as I am doing, I don't support the current black/grey market situation which rips off customers. Why do you support the price gouging of Californians?
No one in favor of this bill has actually used the bill to support their claims.
I cite pieces of the bill to prove my arguments all the time as do many other people. You are outright lying now. If prop 19 is so bad why do you need to lie to oppose it?
They have only addressed parts of the bill that I have already addressed. They refuse to acknowledge major issues.
Again, this is an outright lie. What part of the bill would you like me to address?
I've come up with supporting evidence to my claims and they have come back with rhetoric.
lol. Now who's a hypocrite? Every time someone cites the details of prop 19 you accuse them of semantics and dismiss everything they are saying.
As you can see unlike you, I have absolutely no problem breaking down every detail of you factually challenged posts.
I care not to continue this debate with someone, that by their own admission elsewhere on this forum, has a deep and INvested interest in the passage of 19.
I'm prepared either way. I've got my medical collective set up. Hell, I'd actually make a larger profit if prop 19 fails. Less competition. But I refuse to be part of the "i gots mine" crowd.
I hope that people will, with scrutiny, examine the sources telling them how awesome 19 really is, and make their own informed decisions.
And I just hope people can separate the facts from the misinformation and baseless speculation of the anti-prop19 crowd. According to the public polling and the voting on this forum your side is failing miserably at conning people into voting against prop 19.
