does going from a 24 hour light veg period to a 12/12 flower cycle affect yield

Does this decrease the yield compared to going from a 18/6 veggie to a 12/12 flower cycle. Any references to look at would be appreciated.

No difference, it won't stress the plants. 18/6 vs 24/0 for veg theories differ mostly on total energy in to the system vs a dark period for more efficient plant growth (both roots and above ground). Cost is slightly less with 18/6.
