I've uploaded the following 2 pics:

The first is soil/T5, the second is LED/Hydro - Both plants are the same age.

I would love it for this LED technology to finally come through, love the heavy harvests of my HID but hate the heat....

leds are a ways away imo they promiss everything to ya but are not as great as advertised for example they say the 90w ufo is = to 400w hps well that comes to 4.444 gs per watt not possible im finally gettin close t 1g per watt in my experiance so far they are great but not as advertised a 90w light could get u close to 90gs close to results of hid as per watt and they cut out the need for airconditioners but i dont see ppl who run a few 1000w switchn to these in the near future they will not be satisfied and the price to do swap from hids to leds would be outragous and not be worth turnin off ur ac but for closet grows they cant be beat

I like the close internodal growth the leads cause in veg. It makes future prep for good thick colas.

I love my LED's. Make sure you guys buy the Mixed Spectrum versions not the shitty ones on eBay. Check out Desert Hydroponics that's where I get all mine.

Just found this thread and I am using the 120w LED that seems to be the most current as of July. Im only in a few weeks of veg. but now i'm starting to see the Quad-band which I think is the newer models coming out in august. Has anyone else tried these lights?

cool stuff... I use a small LED system. I love it. cheap and it works great if you put a little effort into training your plants.

thanks RoF. I have been doing this for about 15 years and some kids talked me into buying the UFO. was like. WTF??. I have to try it and it is looking amazing. I am very impressed with the bud density. I read alot of people complaining about this and soon realized the people complaining had NEVER GROWN WITH LED !!! just dont go buy some blue panel or some red panel. DO YOUR research and Your girls will love you !!

Hello everyone. I just started my very first grow. The taproots have cracked thru and I just put them into soil last night. I am using auto flower seeds. One easyryder and to onyx. I have a cabinet that is 5'Hx3'Wx2'D. I have a 270w enhanced spectrum supernova. I'm looking for advice on the settings and light distance for the different stages of growth. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I currently have a 100% LED grow goin on now and I've documented everything from putting together a grow closet and installing lights to planting seeds to where I am today, day one of 12/12. Link is in my sig.

I think it's funny this thread drew a hater in so quickly. There are many more out there, surprised this thread has remained so on topic. Ignore the trolls, they go away.

I can't wait to see my bubblelicious plants stretch under 12/12.
