id say its normal when they start flowering...at least that is what i have been told, the plant is shifting all its energy into bud production instead of vegetation

however i can definitely say ive seen people have very few to none yellowing leaves on their plants...

ya ive been told you should only pay attention to the buds and the trichome production after it begins flowering...

also to cut off the leaves that are past 75% dead...

what kind of nutrients are you using though, because I am used to using Fox Farm shit indoors, so I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction

I'm using general organics bloom 2-4-4 at half strength

any nutrient deficiency is goin to stunt growth and reduce the overall yeild. its a myth that as soon as a plant has gone 12/12 that all its leave yellow and die and thats just fine. you plants look like a hybrid that is leaning towards the more sativa side, add some nitrogen rich fertiliser to you usual feeding, don't go over the top, you don't have enough time to cure the deficiency but you can make sure it stabilises and doesnt get any worse, adding too much nitrogen will be pointless as you just going to have to flush it out again but the deficiency looks pretty bad for 4-6 weeks of flowering, the fact that it has travelled so far up the plant on the upper fan leaves suggests that if you don't address the nitrogen def then in a few weeks you won;t have many leaves left
no leaves= no photosynthesis = no growth= not gud yeild
but that just my 2 cents, many people will disagree with me and everyones entitled to their own opinion .
hope that helps

Its perfectly natural for you plants lower fan leaves to turn yellow during flowering. Your plants look beautiful. I wouldnt do a thing.
