How do l know when it's ready?

Fist timer here and the garden is looking great. The deal is that l have 7 different strains. The two that are getting ready is Super grape and Chem Dog. The Chem Dog is the one that l want to know when it's time to harvest. Very sticky, and is turning color. I feel it's all most ready but l want to flush it then put it in darkness for 48 hours.
Any ideas?

scope or mag glass check the trichs you want it to be mostly amber.Some people let it get to 30% amber and the rest cloudy.

If you can't check the trichs, wait til at least 90% of the pistils have turned brown. I've found that with my indica-dominant strains, the pistils will be almost 100% turned, by the time they've truly finished maturing.

IDK, I've read that it gives them a last boost in trich production, but never seen any real evidence. I'd try it myself, if I wasn't growing perpetually, because that prevents me from shutting off the lights, for that long. Hmm...if you have the option, give it a shot, and post the results. I'd appreciate seeing actual proof/disproof, as would many others.

you can grab a chair and sit down with her and talk to her like a typical farther and ask her about her sex life ect ect. she will spill the beans. works every time.. and the question is what kind of high are you looking for? stoned to your chair high you wait till most of the trich are amber 75%+ for smooth high 50%

how many weeks into flowering are the super g and chemdog?
