When I first got my AeroGarden it was to grow a couple plants. Once I seen how many roots one plant had that changed things. So now it's used to develop roots after germination. It's fitted with a small .5"x.5"x4" air stone 24/7 filled with Techanflora's Sugar Daddy and Root 66. Also got a 50 site Rapid Rooter plug tray and heat mat. I use half the tray for germination cuz it's nice and warm and the other half is used for the seeds once germinated. The germinated seeds go into the plug tail down. After the seed pops out the top of the plug it then goes into the AeroGarden. Within 1 week the roots start poking out of the bottom and sides. When this starts, the plug goes into a 4" rockwool cube in a 6" net cup. The net cup is placed in a 5 Gallon bucket lid with a 6" round air stone (24/7) and a Nute pump for the top feed system. I feed for 30 minutes every 5.5 hours. I'm growing under a 400W Hortilux Super HPS in a Sun System switchable hood.
This is what I transplant into. A very simple Bubbleponic set-up.
