I am in flower, yellow leaves taking over W. Rhino

Hello, I have a couple of White Rhinos, that are three weeks into flower, and the leaves at the bottom, (fan leave) are yellow, totally norm .... but!! The yellow has traveled all the way up to the leaves on the bud, not just the fan leaves, the little leaves around the bud...and it dosnt appear to be slowing down!!! I feel like even the buds are gong to turn yellow!! I am a little stressed... Any I ideas ? am I about to loose the buds? should I force them to ripen(turn back light even more than 12/12) and salvage what I have before its to late? info: I use AN's Bud Candy, Big Bud, Sensizyme, and 1 tbsp epson, Jacks Classic bloom 15/30/20 , they are in Coco and sand, and under 1400 watts hps on 12/12 ... I am leaning towards forced ripen now, and call it a wrap, its got a decent amount of bud on it... what do YOU think, all the other plants (different strains) look awsome!! So is this a Rhino specific trate?

Have any pics of it? Have you tried to flush it out yet? Chopping at just three weeks would be a total bummer, but having the problem spread would be even worse.

I can not post pics... I can describe the leaves as, just like fall leaves, turning and falling... no disease or spots or burns or anything that resembles a problem, looks like normal behavior, if thats a White Rhino characteristic ? anyone grown W Rhino ... and seen this? the buds look great! lots of crystals and loaded pretty well all ready... but could the plant be telling me to ripen, there are no red hairs... I see one bud is showing a little "lightness" on a little leaf ... makes me think its going to yellow too... Ideas? Ripen? No worries?

why is it continuing up into the buds leaves... if its the strain, then wtf ? it shouldnt go up into the bud...right? wait, what do we have in common, what methodology , I say its either a possible ph issue or a nutrient issue... we have different strains, so its not that right... well I mention ph issues cuz I had ph issues with these, cuz I used a sand from a creek with a high ph 7.9 and mixed it with Coco and some small rock, well the ph was way high in the run off, so it took a lot of flushing to get it down... so I think it could be that, ph a touch on the high side ... or my other idea is, maybe we have a nute sensitive plant, im using big bud, bud candy, sensizym, epsom salt 1 tbsp/gal and 10/30/20 And maybe its drawing everything from the nutes/sugars and the plants saying f' the sun leaves, and all the rest... anything in common?

Im going with AN Overdrive and see if that helps, if not, then its going to get forced to ripen up and just cut my losses...

How are the roots looking? I had that same problem with a few turning yellow and then it spread and I realized that it was because the roots were turning yellow and weren't the white fuzzy healthy looking ones I'm used to seeing. If it is what I had then it's a type of bacteria. I tried using many beneficial enzymes to kick it out. But the only thing that worked was H2O2. I had to steralize all my nutrient in order for my plants to turn green again. I have to add peroxide before every feeding. I'm in week 6 flower now and the plants are definately stunted. But they are looking as healthy as possible and trying to put on weight that I need. I know for sure how to catch it early in the game next time.

can i asq if the healthy leaves are light green in color? if yes im having the same issue. its like the yellow leaves are virus that spreading all over my plants. last week i thought if i cut down all the yellow leaves i will be fine and give her an ammount of n in there, but as time passes it seems like i cant fix the leaves turning yellow. im pretty sure its not a ph issue or over nutes since i am using the same water as to my other plants that seems normal and healthy. i dont see any burns on the leaves as well only case is that it turns plain yellow and die off. like wtf. ima go check for the roots if its also turning yellow like the guy above said. so u used peroxide to fix these problem?

you cant change the cycle to make flowering go faster. force ripening is not possible. how long ago did you fix the ph?
sure bro, if you plant 2 plants outside , one a month behind the other, in fall, you will have 2 equally ripened plants, the only diff will be the size of the plant, one month less of veg... made it a month behind in size, thats all. Light controls the plant not the other way around bro, try it man. put one plant under 8-10 (depends if its a northern latitude, or equatorial strain) hours of light ( 8 for sure will do it for sure) and it will ripen. ph issue was at the beging, the run off is in range, and I think I will look at those roots next...

Yes, peroxide 29% concentration is the one to use. It killed the bacteria and the plants turned green again. The thing to remember is to keep using it until it's time to flush or the yellow plague will return.

Im getting results, I lowerd the ph, and added AN's Overdrive ...and its stoped the yellow climbing up, and some of the leaves are greening up, that were light green....I think it gonna be all good, so far so good. Dark420 , I have to beleive you, but I have to do some indoor controlled experiments/ Iight is what triggers the hormones right, I ran a MH 24 hrs/ switched to a HPS at the same 24hr and that triggerd a hromone and it started to prepare for flower, leaves changed shape, resin was produced, hormone change, thats from light, so explain that maybe? I will experiment, you must be right, benifit of the daught.... egh

Then you had an autoflower or were just seeing preflowers. The hormone is destroyed by light and the plant is constantly making it, its just that it gets destroyed before it can reach the level needed to trigger flowering, which is all the flowering hormone does, it doesnt regulate how fast it will finish or anything so adding to the dark cycle to get more flower hormone does not help you, it hurts them because they are not getting as much light energy to grow with than they should be.

the AN Overdrive may have been my savior, its stoped the yellowing from running up... either that or my ph was on the high side, thats the two things I changed.... whatever, just sweet!

Yea for Overdrive - that's something I haven't had to use much. Good to know I could count on it when things are really, really bad.

thanks for sharing man.
