another lucas question (cfl grow) sorry!

Im still really confused with how nutes should be applied and i could really use some help, But before I begin, heres my setup.

cfl, bubbleponic/dwc, 1 gallon res, lowryder #2

Lucas says to use 0-5-10... lets say i have a gallon of water. When my seed first sprount, I wont feed them anything until I see their first set of true leaves. Then I give them maybe 1/8 nute solution, which means giving them 0 -.406 - .812. Is this correct? As the days progress, Ill go from 1/8 to maybe 1/3 to 1/2 all the way to 0-5-10. So the max nutes I will ever need is 0-5-10?

Im sorry if this does not make sense but I'm starting to confuse myself as well...

I suppose with the 0-5-10 you are talking about the NPK ratio?

And if so then it does not break down like that. If you are using a nutrient that has an NPK value of 0-5-10 and says to add 1tblsp. per gallon then you need to add 1/8 of a tblsp. per gallon, it's that simple.

And that value looks to be more like a flowering nutrient than anything. Nitrogen is the most important during vegetative growth so you want to use something that has some N in it. Nitrogen is always the first number represented in the NPK value, followed by phosphorous and then potassium.

follow the recomended schedule not some other grower. you dont have his set up to allow it to work that way for you as it does for him.
first feed depends on what medium you chose, and how quickly they ate as seedlings. i wait till my coytledins turn yellow to use food. on average about 2 to 3 weeks in a soiless medium. then start with the week 1 feed as G.H says to use

Negative. It is the dose ratio 5mg/gal micro, 10mg/gal bloom so 0-5-10 = G-M-B ml/gal dosage Or two to one ratio, bloom to micro
If he was to decide to use HID lighting, he would increase dose to 0-8-16 ml/gal

I go 1/4 week 2 from seed, 3 days later I double, 3 more from that I double. so into mid week 3 you are full blast. Watch them though, every strain varies.

The only problem though is Lucas has stated this formula sucks in VEG. He recommends to use standard GH formula for veg. 3-2-1. I did a AN Sensi grow in coco on some low riders and switched to LUCAS in bloom and it turned out great.
