Here's a wacky thought....
The light debate and questions have all been thought of, discussed and re-thought of and re-discussed and thought of all over again and re-discussed at nauseaum.
Bigger CFLs does mean more lumens, unfortunatly due to the rapid loss of lumens produced by CFLs you need to keep the lights closer to the plant surface. going with a few large watt CFLs means your getting good lumen tradeoff for your dollar BUT your not getting the best coverage since the CFL light has a difficult time penetrating the canopy foliage. The biggest part of this boring ass debate is more lower power lights versus fewer higher power lights.
Yes higher watts gives you more light but only at the tops, if you use more lights of a lower wattage you can position them at the sides and the top ensuring good coverage on all sides of the plant and getting more bud and bud sites for the ammount of electricity you use.
(For a complete listing of all threads discussing CFLs please look anywhere, that shit is a hot topic and boring as all get out)
So why not focus on the girls at hand?
